Joe Napoli is the best! I was stuck in a 5 year divorce process when Joe was recommended to me by a friend. Joe was my third attorney and I had pretty much lost all hope that the case would be finalized. Not only did Joe finalize the case in the timeline we discussed, but he was wonderful to work with and a breath of fresh air! He is extremely knowledgeable about the law and actually takes the time to explain the process. I was always kept informed and up to date on the case. He is professional and assertive to get the job done, and always kept my mind at ease. He was patient and kind with any questions or concerns I had. I am extremely grateful that he finalized my divorce, and I also was very pleased with the finalized settlement. My only wish is that I had found Joe at the beginning of my divorce process! My name is Mark Kokoyachuk. I hired Joseph Napoli through a referral from a very good friend of mine, Misha. Misha went through five lawyers before hiring Joe and what I remember distinctively was Misha saying, the difference between Joe and all the other lawyers was that Joe was a fighter. That Joe would fight for you. That Joe cared and wasn't just trying to take your money. It was evident from the start. When I met with Joe my daughters mother had taken my daughter out of the country and wouldn't bring her back, I didn't see my daughter for 4 month. When my daughters mother realized that if she didn't bring her back she would get arrested she then filed a restraining order against me falsely accusing be a physical abuse. When in court it caught myself and Joe by surprise but Joe kept his cool and mandated to have a hearing ASAP. The other lawyer tried to extend it for another 30 to 45 days but Joe said 1 week. He convinced the Judge not to kick this case down the line but to hear it ASAP and the Judge agreed. I'm so thankful to Joe and everything he has done. And by the way, I was eventually awarded Permanent Full Custody of my 6 year old daughter. This would have never happened if I went with another lawyer. Joe fought for me and continues to give me advise when I need it. I have refereed Joe to other friends of mine and will continue to refer him to whom asks.

Friends of mine always say I got screwed by the courts when I got divorced because for a successful woman the courts are much less supportive. But I knew from the beginning I needed a strong lawyer who would advocate for my best interests and more importantly the best interests of my children. Joe fought hard for what he knew was right and more importantly guided me through the process saving me thousands and thousands of dollars. He took every call and every text, days, nights or weekends. He let me decide when we backed down or pushed harder on something but always advised the best course of action. He stuck with me for almost 4 years (yes we have already been back to court since the divorce was final) and would help me again in a heartbeat. Joe makes his clients feel supported and in control. And when you are taking on a divorce both of those things are crucial to your sanity.

After not so great communication and bad handling by my first lawyer, I find Mr. Napoli a fresh air and a lifesaver!!! I totally agree with couple other posts mentioning that he's not your everyday 9-5 lawyer. He has given me very insightful opinion on my case during consultation and on the same day, I sent over my docs and he's already reviewing it and communicating with me thru emails on the same night! My ex wants to change his visitation and child support. He sees the problem right away and explains the steps to take which makes the most sense. As a divorced mother with multiple young children, he saved me from doing the unnecessary paperwork pushed by my first lawyer. He's an expert in law and very honest about what's worth pursuing and what's not and possible timeline ahead. Joe Napoli is a consummate professional, yet also very personable and respectful and accommodates any special needs his clients may have. I have severe PTSD with Anxiety and Depression and Joe was kind enough and empathetic enough to learn about my disease and adapt to my special needs, as a client. Additionally, Joe has an intimate knowledge of the applicable laws and statutes and, many times, can quote them verbatim. He is also very savvy in keeping up with applicable caselaw and precedents. Joe is not your typical M-F 9-5 attorney. Frequently, he would return my calls or emails at night and on weekends. That is very rare in an attorney! I went through two previous attorneys before I found my perfect fit with Joe. Unlike my previous attorneys, Joe returned my calls or emails, promptly. He took the time to ensure that I understood every step of the process and that my best interests were always being protected.
