I am not the type of guy who believes the hype about…well, about anything. Everyone was raving about Mr. Schmiege in the reviews, but I figured it was all hype. Still, I needed a criminal defense lawyer that could help me with the serious criminal accusations. If I didn’t get help, there was a good chance that I would go to prison for a long time. I didn’t want to think about that. When I met with him, I was impressed with the level of his professionalism. I finally felt like I was in good hands with someone who cared. He delivered on their promises, and I am free because of them.

The police showed up to my door one day and arrested me based on allegations from a neighbor that I’d been having trouble with. I had no idea what I had done, and let me tell you, I’d never been more frightened in my life. This wasn’t what I had planned for my life, and if I didn’t get help, I knew my future was ruined. I hired Michael Schmiege almost as soon as we met. He was highly professional, and experienced. Great lawyer and fantastic service! Mr. Schmiege was awesome when I was being investigated by the law enforcement for allegations made by one of my neighbors. He immediately conducted an investigation and showed the police our side of the story and that the allegations could not be true. Because of his hardwork and knowledge the cops and prosecutor decided not to file charges. If I ever need a criminal attorney in Chicago I would hire him again in a second.
