This is a late post but I’ve had nothing but a great and positive experience working with Cori and the Women’s firm. Cori went above and beyond dealing with my case where my ex retired at 50 ( no health problems) and took me to court to stop my child support for my children ( because he couldn’t afford it with his pension). Needless to say, Cori fought for my and my children’s rights and pointed out facts as well as his hidden secondary employment to the opposing attorney. I definitely recommend this firm, they are honest and hard working. They will work for you and seek out any in discrepancies presented their way. I am very much thankful for Cori, her kindness and knowledge. And of course as lawyers they’re not cheap but Cori worked with me on every aspect and detail of my case.

When I made a request for information from WDFLG at the beginning of this journey, I didn't know I was embarking on a 2+ year fight for my future, but Partner Josh Haid (and later Associate Stephanie Powers) immediately eased my fears. Josh was both honest and realistic about what I might encounter after my long marriage to a pensioned city employee, yet confident that I'd ultimately get a fair and equitable settlement. Stephanie soon took over the day to day details of my divorce and together they handled a very unprofessional opposing attorney with the utmost grace. Although we nearly had to go to a trial due to a lack of cooperation from the other side, ultimately we settled and I was awarded what I had fairly requested. Though my divorce took longer than I expected, Stephanie and Josh worked to ensure my compensation for the other side's delays, and I always received prompt, honest, realistic and compassionate responses to my questions and concerns. I'm finally happily divorced and consider both of these amazing professionals true allies, and now, friends. I absolutely recommend them and their kind, professional staff to anyone who needs representation in a family law matter.
