Amazing caring people

I was represented by Josie. She was always available to talk, very thorough, and had good insight. She showed up to hearings on time and early. I called regarding a malpractice case.they asked me basic questions. In 3 days I received a call back from them stating that they were unable to take my case. They had no medical records yet at this point. When I asked the reason for not accepting my case they said it didn't meet their criteria. But they refused to tell me what their criteria was.

I reached out to Polansky & Cichon when I was struck by a vehicle while I was walking as a pedestrian in Jan 2020. I spoke with them both regarding my case and asked their professional opinion on what they think I can do about it. I was directed to Mr Cichon as my primary contact. I submitted everything that was needed, physical therapy costs, all medical treatment received, lost wages, etc. I was told this case is worth around $15,000-$25,000. The first 6 months went by and I didn’t hear much besides that we were waiting for the drivers insurance to get back to us. This continued for over a year, even with me calling every few weeks or even months sometimes for updates. We were approaching the 2 year mark since they accident and still no news. Communication was horrible. Multiple times I waited months to get a cal back. Roughly about 2 years and a month since the accident is when I finally received a call stating that the drivers insurance is only offering 5k and that I should accept the offer so we don’t spend another 6 months asking for more that we might not get. Long story short is I walked away with less than $1500 after PT was paid off as well as all medical bills and Mr Cichons 30% fee. AFTER 2 YEARS AND A MONTH LATER AND I GOT NOT EVEN 10% OF WHAT I WAS TOLD MY CASE WAS WORTH. Extremely unsatisfied.

I had a very poor experience with this law firm and I would not recommend this practice. My case, in my opinion was poorly handled. I unfortunately am aware of another person who is currently working with this firm, and this person is also having a difficult experience.

I was taken care of properly by my attorney John Cichon. Throughout the entire process he was informative and sympathetic to my situation. I was able to settle my case and move on with my life. Thank you.
