I hired Michael Schmiege as my criminal defense lawyer after being ripped off by Chicago’s most “prominent” criminal defense lawyer. My previously lawyer just wanted me to plea guilty – which would have meant a prison sentence. Mr. Schmiege fought for me and I decided to take the case to trial and I was found not guilty. I won the case beating 8 felony charges. Had I listened to the other famous lawyer I had hired I would be in prison right now. Thank you Mr. Schmiege for fighting for me.

My son was charged with several counts of sexual assault, kidnapping, sex trafficking and assault; all against a minor and was facing the rest of his life in prison. The case was overcharged. Mr. Schmiege fought vigorously for my son and was able to get him released on bond while fighting his case. Mr. Schmiege was able to get all of the charges dropped and plea-bargained down to one charge. Instead of prison time, my son received probation and does not have any sexual charges on his record (which would have meant that he would have to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life). One of the things that I love about Mr. Schmiege is that he always kept it 100% real – no BS. He was always honest and straightforward. He is an amazing attorney who will fight for you. I owe a big thank you to criminal defense attorney . I was accused of domestic violence, which is completely crazy because I am the victim. The truth is it really wasn't much of fight and I really didn't think it would be considered to be domestic violence when I called the police. I thought that I could just explain my situation to the judge, but was told to come back with a criminal attorney. I found them who calmed me down and explained what to do when I was freakin out. In the end they got the DA to drop the charges which is GREAT NEWS because now I don't have to worry about a criminal record.
