I want to post this review on the Services of Frank D. Kress with the Firm of Rubens and Kress in Chicago. I have been, for over the past four years, in a Workman's Compensation case in the state of Illinois. About one year ago Frank Kress worked with the defense in settling the first part of the case: The loss of income for the future. Even though I can't and won"t reveal the details of the settlement, Frank hammered out a deal with the defense for several thousand dollars more than even the Commission recommended. However, I must say the attorney for for the defense is a classy lady herself, she worked with my attorney in resolving the amazing settlement. My wife and I now live in central Kansas. On Monday, April 13, 2015, we drove to Urbana, Il. for a Workman's Compensation "trial" before a Commissioner for the State of Illinois. It was here that I got a first hand view of Mr. Kress and his legal skills. We did not see what went on behind the scenes in the first phase of the settlement, we were able to see what skills are "necessary" in the second phase of the settlement process of the medical benefits. The old saying "only a fool represents himself in court" is certainly true in this situation. This trial was about coordination of benefits between Federal Medicare and State of Illinois Workman's Compensation. I learned, my case is a rather rare situation, and that being the case, knowledge of both sides of the issue were and are vitally important. I couldn't have done it myself, being an old beat up retired truck driver. Any professional in this area of Workman's Comp law could not have done it any better. Frank demonstrates his "finger tip" knowledge of the law in this case. Working in a Federal Medicare level situation, you had better know the law or the situation it self will bury you. This is absolutely critical. Mr. Kress worked masterfully with the Commissioner and the attorney for the defense in trying to get a final resolve on this situation. Frank demonstrates his "total" skills in this area of expertise. This is not a phoney review for Frank Kress. I wish there were some way for you to get hold of me to prove it. You will, bar none, not be able to find a better attorney to work for you. His professional dress, mannerisms, facial expressions, carriage, skills, knowledge, application of law, ad infinitum are superior. Whether it be personal injury or Workman's Compensation law, you will need someone that has the skills that are vital to resolving your case. If you have a good or fair case, do not be afraid to trust your case to just anyone. It could cost you dearly. Mr. Kress is not an ambulance chasing..shyster type attorney. I have Anothony Ivone as my attorney and he doesnt return my calls and doesnt explain things through and just tries to get me to sign things. Im in worse shape now than before i hired him i have had to chase him down for answers and am not happy at all with his services

After about 3.5 years Mr. Kress helped draw part one of my case to a close; maybe. Still working on part and hope we can conclude in a little over a month January 26, 2015

1/19/2015 Mr. Kress is an honest competent attorney, he is very informative and does his job with the up most integrity. He seems to genuinely care about how you have been affected with your injury and been treated by your employer. He has on many occasions called me just to see how I was doing that day...that shows he really cares. Anytime I called him and left a message he was very prompt with getting back with me. Anytime workman's comp was not paying my TTD or any of my bills he was right on it making sure it got done. I could not ask for a better attorney and I will definitely recommend him to anyone that needs an attorney!!!

Today is Jan, 14th 2015. I hired Frank Kress in Dec. 2013 for a work comp case. I was skeptical about hiring a lawyer from Chicago when I am located in southern Illinois: concerned about communication issues, etc... Mr. Frank Kress proved that I made a good choice hiring him. Frank is an excellent lawyer!! Frank was in communication with me throughout my entire case; keeping me informed on ever level. Frank was very professional and showed much concern about me as a person and my health. Frank was very knowledgeable and was able to answer ALL my questions immediately; not having to "get back to you". In my opinion, Franks experience, high level of work standards, persistence, and extreme knowledge of the law got me the great settlement award I received. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH MR. FRANK KRESS and I recommend him as a lawyer.

I want to write this review with true and honest feelings. Since Mr. Kress has handled my case 3 years ago, I have had nothing but stress free living. I was hurt on my job in 2011. Mr. Kress has taken great care of not only me but also my family. He has always made me feel that I am being well taken care of . Dealing with an employer and their insurance can be a nightmare. If I did not have Frank and I can call him Frank due to he is a true friend on my case, I would have been fired from my job and replaced. Frank has taken great time and effort in making sure I have been paid every week. Sure some times the insurance company likes to play games, but Frank was always on the phone with myself and the insurance company getting things in order. A friend had recommended Frank to me and I am sure glad I found an honest and hard working lawyer. I just want to say thanks and I would and will recommend Frank D. Kress to anyone who is in need of his services.

I have been involved in a wc case with Mr. Kress for the past 7 years. The wc system is complicated at best with a "hurry up and wait" attitude which can be very frustrating for both client and attorney. My personal experience with Mr. Kress is that he is knowledgeable of the wc system, trustworthy with confidential information and communicates progress on your case in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Mr. Kress in the practice of wc law.

they are very unprofessional they dont call so there for you dont know whats going on with your case there secretarys are very rude the lawyers are unprofessional when you get one lawyer you end up with another one without your knowledge they told me i would be getting a large settlement and end up with nothing I DONT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO WIN ON THERE CASE DONT GO IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU

Lori off the start was more than an exceptional person and even on short notice she worked under the best of her abilities. Being able to be accompanied by such an individual was a blessing in disguise, she was easy going, caring and understanding. But what made her stand out above all others is she had heart and cared for people who really needed saving, once again thanking you for your generosity, professionalism and determination you are highly appreciated. Lori Levin is an exceptional attorney. She helped my husband and I will our guardianship case for my husbands daughter and I honestly don't know what we would of done without her knowledge and expertise in the court system. I have to say this Attorney has no respect for the client. She and her staff will brain feed you what you want to hear and will extend the process latter. Turn on you instead of you having to fit for the case you end up fitting with them. They will drag on your case as long as possible just to send you a bill per month for 5,000.00. Because you call them to get back to you on things they do not inform you, so they can continue to bill you. Won't reply emails. Worst enter orders with out your authorization. Not a honest firm at all. Stay away, sad but true.
