I see that there are a lot of great reviews on here with other people other than a lawyer named Jeff who continuously yelled at my wife and at me for no apparent reason other than having some paperwork not delivered on time which was not our fault at all he would never talk about what the circumstances of the situation was All he wanted to do was yell and scream at us if you do go with them do not ask for the guy Jeff because Jeff will give you a hard time

Ankin Law is tiring. When I first had my accident one of the medical specialists I was seeing sighed and encouraged me to find a smaller firm that might actually fight for my issues. When I say the attorney assigned to me has given me more grief than my injury it's an understatement. Instead of striving to fight for me initially he encouraged me to go back to work against the wishes of the doctor. It made me question whether or not the City of Chicago was paying him to not fight for my rights. A little side money, payola, what Chicago is known for historically. Every time I want an update I send email after email, I call repeatedly, and the only time I can get information is if I request to speak to the office manager. I was lowballed on an offer and encouraged to take it so the attorney working my case wouldn't have to continue to go to court. He made an asinine excuse as to why the small amount I was asking for would be more trouble than it was worth, instead of just working to help me get what I felt I deserved. It's been tiring. It has been too much. I wish I went with a smaller firm. But I will definitely never make the mistake of doing something so ridiculous as choosing this firm to represent me again. Do yourself a favor. Find another firm.
