My first green card application was denied by USCIS due to their conclusion that i had made a false claim to US citizenship. the attorney i was working with during this time suggested we file a motion to reconsider and it was also denied. I met Christina in Summer 2011 when immigration denied our I-485. She challenged the decision and helped me to get approval in October 2011. But immigration denied our application again in April , 2012. Then she asked me to go to immigration court as an immigration judge would decide much more fairly than USCIS. After 4-year waiting for an immigration judge, finally we got permission to stay in the U.S in November 2016. The judge sent back our case to USCIS and today all of my family members get green cards. We started L/C process in 2003 so it takes 14 years to get green cards. During the long period , Christina was even-tempered, decisive, well-organized and warm-hearted. Christina is extremely responsive and took the time to answer the mountains of questions we had about the timing, the process it self and what was required of us. She also provided advice along each step of the way as to what needed to be done and what would help us have a positive outcome. Our situation was a little different than most as I spend most of my time out of the States and my husband was out of status. Attorney Murdoch is a very talent immigration attorney; I am lucky to hire her to work on my case! I am a staff member(not involved much in teaching or researching) working for a public university, the university wont sponsor a staff member like me to apply for a green card application.
