In April of 2016, I had an urgent need for a family attorney to help me litigate some critical issues unresolved from my divorce decree ordered by the cook county family court in 2011. I interviewed 3 attorneys and ended up picking the last one I felt was the best out of the three. What a mistake I made after two months of litigation and more than $10,000 legal fees. In July, I interviewed two more attorneys and I selected attorney Anderson to replace the previous attorney. What a switch I made! All the critical issues were litigated and resolved to my complete satisfaction. I recently had a very sticky situation. I had planned a family trip to the Caymen Islands and needed to get my passport renewed at the last minute. No problem, right? Wrong. When I went to pick it up, they handed me a letter of denial instead. Apparently, I owed back child support. That was on a Friday. The following Monday (we were leaving in five days), I scrambled to find an attorney that could sort this all out and get the denial lifted and release my passport. I called six different attorneys. Five of whom said it would be impossible to sort it all out with the court, family Services and U.S. Passport Services in Washington DC. The clock was ticking. Luckily, one of those six lawyers was Scott Tzinberg Not only did he accept the challenge, he crushed it! Within two days after settling the back child support fees, he was in court with my EX and getting the needed papers signed by the judge. Then he contacted a very helpful agent he new in Family Services and got the release I needed signed, sealed and delivered to the Washington Passport Office. They expedited the release and I picked up my passport a mere four days after this whole thing blew up. Oh, Scott even agreed to meet me at a MacDonalds in the middle of nowhere Illinois to get my signature on the court papers. If you ever need a Family lawyer, skip the search and call Scott Tzinberg.
