Listened to my concerns. Advocated on my behalf and ultimately helped me win custody of my son. As a father it is nearly impossible to win custody. Straight forward, honest, and impeccable character. Would never want her to be opposing council. She's intelligent and is very committed to her clients. I can't say enough good things about Jessica.

Jessica won a very hard and long battle that took almost 3 years and I still need her services once in a while. Jessica acted as my attorney in a child support case. She was very detail-oriented and ensured that I had all of my documents in order to build a sound case. Working w/Jessica has been well worth it. Very responsive, detailed and contains a deep knowledge of her craft. I went in with a case that due to mom having taken off with my son for years with no contact or location, combined with the fact that my ex and I had never been married looked at best, slightly more than hopeless man with few rights under Illinois law. After a long struggle, that at times seemed bleak, I now have custody, and during the trial she managed to reveal to the judge that each one of my exes witnesses was actually a witness to unacceptable behavior that could, possibly endanger my child. Jessica was knowledgeable and professional beyond my expectation. Ms Marshall was very professional and we won our case she knew the law and let us know what to expect each time we went to court , she's a very good lawyer a bit pricey for my taste but she did what she said she was going to do and if I ever need an attorney again I would use her again & I would refer her to family and friends .

Jessica saved the day. I could not be more grateful or recommend her more highly. She jumped in with both feet, knew just what to do, and straightened out a protracted divorce in just two weeks after she was hired, and her fees are reasonable. Unlike some attorneys, Jessica was patient and considerate of my feelings, but stayed within the law and followed proper guidelines. Never once did I feel I was paying for services I did not get. I retained Jessica to represent me in a post petition action filed by my ex. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. The only negative (and this was out of her control), was the length of time it took to get to trial over a fairly simple matter. I was impressed with her court room performance.
