Got an amazing free consultation with Michael; he was not only very informative, but so kind and understanding of the whole situation! I didn’t expect to have such a great experience, but he really helped me get the confidence for how I should pursue my case (if I chose to) in IL

Sooo before I can even get a chance for any recommendations I guess David Johnson who answers the hotline calls or did atleast today on 8/16/23 around 1:30 In The afternoon decides to tell me he doesn’t think I was hurt in my case sooo is he an attorney or phone operator

I called for an information about a case on 08/09/2023 at 9:30 am CST Chicago, Illinois. The man that was answering, asked me 2 questions and answer my question with small court solution. After that he was very disrespectful and very rude and then hang up without asking me if I solve all my questions. Please make sure to don’t put on costumer service “non-emotionally ready” dudes to talk with people that is looking for information for sensitive cases. Also, I can see that I am not the first person that this man on the phone is rude, is with everyone. Even that he said “ma’am I answer your legal question”. Being a SNIDE answering the phone don’t makes you profesional, just a little bit of empathy or DON’T OFFER FREE ANSWER 24/7 if those people will answering in that way. Thanks.

Illinois Lawyers provided a prompt, professional and courteous response to a question I had on behalf of my company. I would recommend them as a first source when you need input and/or a referral on Illinois employment law.

Do not call... Young condescending wish they were lawyers are the ones who answer the call. The ones that answer the phones clearly know nothing about law, customer service, or how to deal with people.

The person who took my call was EXTREMELY rude. He spoke to me as though I was seeking comfort (he said at least two times to me "Who cares?"), when what I was seeking was a clear answer in regard to the legality of a decision my employer was making. I am actually at a loss for words on how extremely unprofessional that call just was.

Within an hour after submitting an online inquiry of my legal trouble Mike gave me a call to discuss the matter and gave me the reassurance I needed. Thank you!

The person who answers their phone is beyond rude and abrupt. They advertise a free consultation. I called asking to talk to someone and potentially hire him to help out with legal paperwork I had started but done wrong. He was very abrupt, didn’t want to listen to anything I said, kept interrupting me as I was explaining and before I had hardly said anything he ended the conversation with “ you are never going to find a lawyer’. Their phone representative is just RUDE, arrogant and abrupt. I’m reading other reviews here and a lot of other people have the same feedback. If I talked to people in such an unprofessional manner at my job I would be fired. I am shocked that they are keeping this person on the job considering that there’s a pattern of people complaining about his rudeness and lack of professionalism. UPDATE: In response to his response, I didn’t hang up on him. He ended the conversation abruptly with “you are never going to find a lawyer “ and he didn’t want to speak to me anymore. So the conversation had to end. I tried calling the other phone number they had listed hoping I will get to speak to someone else who is actually nice. Unfortunately he picked up the phone again. He must have known it was me ( mostly likely caller ID) and immediately, before I had said anything, said with a very annoyed unwelcoming tone “yes madam “. So I had to hang up as I knew this is not going to get anywhere. I will repeat it again- the person on the phone is rude and unprofessional. Finally, contrary to his abrupt and rude statement, I did find a lawyer who is helping me!
