Keith successfully represented my son in a case oversees that had both career and life implications. He was facing very serious charges, which Keith was able to disprove. He told us after reviewing the case and evidence that he felt it was a false case, and he worked hard to prove that. It was an incredibly stressful time for our family, but especially my son. Keith was very direct and encouraging about what he wanted to do, but also brutally honest about the potential negative possibilities of the case. He took charge of the situation, and worked well with my son's military defense team. There was never a time when we had questions or concerns where we couldn't simply text or email him to get answers or updates on the case. After over a year of stress for our family and hard work by Keith, my son's charges were formally dismissed, and he is able to continue with his military career, but more importantly his freedom. I would not wish this type of situation on anyone, but I cannot encourage people enough to seek Keith's counsel in the worst of cases for a solid plan, focus and professionalism. Both Keith Scherer and Greg Gagne have changed my life completely. Long story short I was accused of some pretty horrible things from my previous marriage that followed me through my separation, deployment phase and divorce that stemmed from spousal support and deployment pay eventually putting me in an extension passing my ETS date by one year. Pretty much Family Advocacy Program, XVIII Corps Inspector General, Criminal Investigative Detectives and my whole chain of command were involved not to mention a couple of officers from Fayetteville Police Department. Being that this was a SHARP/ SARC incident I felt as though I wouldn't stand a chance at proving my innocence. Here in Fort Bragg, each defendant is allowed 2 military lawyers from Trial Defense Services at no expense and being how these specific cases (Rape, assault, etc.) are sometimes biased, the needed effort to ensure my innocence could be proven needed to be doubled. My father had been researching a good lawyer who is oriented in Court Martial cases and had plenty of positive reviews from those who were once in my shoes. After 4 long days in the court room deciding my fate by a selected jury panel, I was acquitted on all charges and I'm now a free man who will be out processing soon with my hard earned benefits and DD-214 in hand. My current wife and I can continue to live our lives without the burden or stress of my ex wife and I will be able to sleep comfortably knowing that I won't be a registered sex offender or be thrown into Leavenworth. I would suggest hiring Keith Scherer and Greg Gagne for every reason known to man, most importantly for freedom in which we as military service members had served for.

Just a little piece of what happened to my son, he was AWOL for 3.5 months, his Car broke down and the police ran his name and then he was detained, he was in jail for 5 days, after 5 days On thursday The Army sent him air tickets to go back to fort polk LA, so I was so worried that he was going to Stay there for Christmas, or even more time, and then Mr Keith Scherer told me, no to worry, that he was doing everything for him, So he was right, my son was back On monday night. Mr. Scherer is by far the best lawyer I could've asked for, I was facing charges for being awol, and was detained by the police after getting caught. He talked to the people back on base about me and got all the paper work done while I was in jail, so all I had to was sign a paper and be on my way.. His knowledge and professionalism really gave me a peace of mind and helped me not freak out.. I was out of the army after two days of going back on post. Definently recommend him for anyone whose having legal troubles while in the army

Mr Scherer provided excellent counsel in a very sensitive case. I am a physician in the military and was accused of inappropriate behavior by a patient. Mr. Keith Scherer absolutely saved the day for our family and I will forever be grateful to him for his legal expertise and his guidance. From the very beginning to the very end, Mr. Scherer was supportive, responsive and appropriately aggressive with my husband's case. It was a difficult situation, as my husband was already in the brig when I made the decision to seek assistance from a civilian attorney specializing in military law. What I appreciated most from Mr. Scherer throughout the entire process, was that he was willing to remind me to calm down and try to find peace, when I became overwhelmed by the stress of the situation. Which I did, quite a few times. I was a stress case and he was kind enough to lead me in the direction of positive thinking. That meant so much to me. He is strong minded and confident in his decisions, yet when offering his legal expertise, he was patient with me and put in the time to ensure that I was clear regarding next steps and what to expect. My daughter and I were alone in this state, my husband was in the brig and my resources were limited. During this case, Mr. Scherer was appropriately aggressive when needed and equally supportive. When difficult decisions needed to be made, he gave me details that I asked for and then allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed to feel comfortable. All of our communication was by email or phone, as he was in a different state, and I was impressed with his ability to build my trust so quickly by his outstanding performance and solid responses. When it came time for the court martial, I was even more impressed and so relieved to meet Mr. Scherer. He was prepared, focused, supportive and on the day of court, when I walked into the court room filled with anxiety and so afraid, I looked at Mr. Scherer and his partner and was filled with a sense of peace. I knew I had the very best representing the interests of my family and I was not disappointed. I have never seen such confidence and expertise in a court room. Mr. Scherer and his partner were respectful and appropriate, however; their presence was hard to miss. I know without a doubt, that if Mr. Scherer would not have represented my husband, that we would not have had the same result. After a long day of court, it was so rewarding to hear the final verdict from the jury, which was the best case scenario. After so many months of fear, to be able to hear that my husband was safe and this situation was over, well, there are no words to describe. Mr. Scherer had a huge smile on his face when it was all said and done, not because he had a "win", but because I believe he was sincere in his desire to help our family and he shared in our joy. As I stated at the beginning of this review, I will forever be grateful. I don't think Mr. Scherer truly understands what he did for our family, but the positive results of his intervention in this case will trickle throughout our lives as a reminder that life is precious. He will always be remembered as "the very best".

I have known Keith now for almost a year and can testify to more than his abilities as a lawyer, but how he differs from others because as soon as you hire him, you will see from day #1 that he will treat you more than just a client.
