I have nothing but high regard for the attorneys at Edelman, Combs,Latturner, especially Cassandra Miller. My case was handled expertly and efficiently. She took the time to listen to my background and my situation but did not make any promises that she could not keep. She was very clear on what the process would entail and provided timely communication when necessary. I did not have to beg for updates. In the end Cassandra far exceeded my expectations in handling my case and I will be forever indebted to her!

I had an upsetting experience with a company that buys credit card debt and then sues to try to collect on it. Apparently some lowlife got hold of my name and social security number, fraudulently opened a credit card in my name in North Carolina, used it to buy a $3,000 refrigerator, and then defaulted on the card. The company then sued me in Illinois to try to collect the debt. I responded with a declaration under penalty of perjury documenting that the account was not mine, and that I had indeed never even set foot in North Carolina. The company never disputed my proof, but still kept the case going for a year, while they were supposedly searching for the person who was actually responsible for the debt. Then they dismissed the case "without prejudice" and sued me AGAIN. Predictably, I ultimately got that case dismissed, this time with prejudice, which barred them from refiling it. Even after having lost twice, the company STILL kept sending me letters - three of them - attempting to collect. And they never reported to the companies that give you a credit score that they had lost both their lawsuits against me and that I was not in fact the deadbeat they claimed I was. I was furious by this point, and hired Edelman Combs to represent me. I am myself an attorney, and had read a number of federal cases where Edelman Combs had obtained excellent results for clients who had been deceived or defrauded by purported creditors. Edelman Combs succeeded in obtaining an outstanding result in my case, settling it for far more than I had thought possible. I highly recommend them.

I can honestly say that I love the fact that they contacted me whenever something did come up and that if I ever had any questions I could give them a call and never have to wait great people great firm and would definitely recommend them to anybody that needs them.

Me and my husband we both got our Green card last month by our lawyer Brian A. Seyfried's hard work. We want to tell to him officially Thank you. Green card process is a not easy but our processing time was so quick and he and his firm worked professional, has always been responsible.
