I reached out to Hallock less than 24 hours before my court hearing. After calling around the chicago land area for an attorney that wasn't money hungry and wasn't trying to charge me $350 just to hear my case, Thomas was beyond professional he asked lots of question to better understand the case but most importantly he gave me a lot of information and informed me of things that of course I wasn't aware of bc im not a lawyer, but things like what the chances were of going to jail, weather or not we should take it to trial after he sees all my paper work and the greater chances of winning the case and getting it dismissed. He took his time explaining I didn't feel as if he was just trying to get my money. He was super professional and persist. He gave me his number and texted me shortly after we got off the phone t confirm the date and location of the court hearing the next date. He was exstreamly flexible with the pay. He told me what his rate was for this kind of case and I told him I didn't have that much all at once, he said no worries whenever u can as long as I have something tomorrow. Money wasn't an issue to him his man thing was getting the case dismissed. What a selfless person. Very cool and humble. Fast forward to the next morning. He showed up on time, looked over my paper work before my name was called in the case. Went in to talk to the procictuer, the judge called my name and before he could open my folder the judge stated "please state your name? Your case is DISMISSED you have an awesome lawyer." I was beyond shocked and very pleased my driving record was thrown out. After all of that when I thought my day couldn't get any better bc of Thomas, we go into the hall to discuss everything and he says, the rate I gave you yesterday? I'm not going to charge you. I gave him the amount I promised the day before, I shook his hand and we parted ways. Very happy with the last minute outcome of Thomas Hallock. I never write reviews but I felt it was necessary for the next person who might be in a jam and looking for a lawyer last min but wants someone that's qualified and knows what their doing and not going to get beaten out of their money from lawyers that just want to constantly increase their prices as the case goes on. I don't usually write reviews. However I was so pleased with the level for professionalism as well as the fast turn around time that I felt compelled give their services 5 stars. I worked with Aaron, one of the associates at the firm. He informed me of my options in a language that a non-attorney could understand. I will definitely use this firm for all my legal needs.

Tom was a great Attorney. he was there anytime I had questions and he was very thorough in his replies to make sure I understood everything that was happening. He was very professional, knowledgeable and always in a great mood. He was successful in getting us the outcome we needed and I would recommend him to anyone.

Believe it or not, some people never have the opportunity to see the inside of a courtroom. I’m not one of those people. Through friends and personal experience, I’ve met many lawyers who for the most part, fit the stereotype; vicious divorce attorneys, greedy personal injury lawyers and indifferent public defenders. I once spent thousands of dollars for my loved one’s defense, only to have him end up the state penitentiary for his first offense of possession. The lawyer was so inept (or careless) that he himself, was held in contempt for not showing up to court. With these kinds of negative impressions, you can imagine how frightened I was when my non-violent loved one, battling a six-year-long addiction to heroin, was arrested for possession a second time. Desperate, I looked on line, found Thomas Hallock’s profile and dialed the number. He listened as I relayed our history, answered our questions and addressed our fears, going so far as to give a worst case scenario that was much brighter than the one I’d imagined. His quiet confidence was reassuring. He quoted a price, gave me his cell number and invited me to text or call with any questions I might have. We met at the courthouse with less than a week’s preparation. In less than fifteen minutes, Tom had arranged a plea deal with a penalty more befitting the crime—and then adjusted his fee! He did exactly what he said he would do, but didn’t feel the amount of time he spent on the case justified his pay. Can you imagine? Tom has integrity. I am more than impressed with his knowledge and skill. I haven’t the words to express how grateful I am to have crossed paths with him. Anything Thomas Hallock has to say can be absolutely relied upon and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
