I had Steve as my lawyer for my immigration matter. I initially learned about Steve through another lawyer's recommendation. Before I hired him as my lawyer, I also asked another lawyer friend about him and got confirmation that if I hire Steve, it would be taken care of well, so two lawyers' vouchers gave me a lot of confidence. I worked with Steve for about 2.5 years and got a result I wanted. Throughout that time, I had many meetings and communication with him - I dealt with other lawyers before, but Steve is very smart, knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic. A lot of lawyers will be saying "you have too many questions", "it's up to you to decide", "you will have to pay more because I have other clients too", but he never said that and made it really comfortable to ask any questions. I also like the fact that he doesn't just take theoretical legal approaches, but more of a practical one, which helped my case. He will also answer your legal questions honestly, rather than just textbook replies. Finally, his humor is another perk, easing your mind. I strongly x 100 recommend Steve.

I hired them to help me with my divorce, a divorce is already stressful enough by itself. You would want a lawyer that helps you through this difficult process. They never answered my emails or my calls and were very unprofessional overall. I changed lawyers and they said they would return part of the money, it took months to get something back and that only happened after i showed up to their office to complain in person.

I interviewed almost a dozen attorneys before settling on Kourosh and his team at Arami Law. Every attorney a met with immediately jumped to how much they could get for me, boasting about how they could help me do X or Y to my soon to be former spouse with their legal prowess. Instead, when I met with Kourosh, he asked me what happened and how I wanted to handle my divorce, which was, admittedly, unconventional in the sense that I wanted to do what would let me sleep well at night which was much less than what I could seek to get away with legally speaking. We spent time on the potential pitfalls and issues that might arise at the end of which he told that he was more than happy to handle things how I wanted, but that if things went off the rails, that I needed to trust his judgment—I wasn’t the one wanting to get a divorce after all. Which is all to say Kourosh was the first attorney that I spoke to that actually respected me and my wishes. My case wound up being anything but easy, taking almost two years. Even in the midst of a very busy schedule (Kourosh is a solo practitioner), he still made ample time to discuss each matter with me and ensure we stayed aligned on all things. Divorce is, as I learned (and if you’re here, you unfortunately will too) a messy and often nasty endeavor wrought with all manner of upsetting, frustrating and soul crushing moments. I consider myself lucky to have found and selected Kourosh to represent me through all of that.
