I was having a hard time finding a law firm to take my personal injury lawsuit because some unique circumstances pertaining to the construction accident I had. I ws told by 3 other firms that I would have to originate the suit in the state where it happened a friend suggested I talk to TPMB about my accident they agreed to represent me in this matter and after appealing the motion from the opposing attorneys for a change of venue all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court they were successful in keeping it in Illinois. We eventually prevailed in this suit. My attorney's name is John Treshansky he is the epitome of professionalism and grace. He is patient, understanding and communicative. I know he is the reason for our success. Through the process I have met other people in the office. My Aunt Audrey and I were in an uphill battle and we weren’t sure where to turn. Aunt Audrey was my mom’s last sister and unfortunately she had developed a wound at a nursing home, in spite of my vigilance. I was beside myself and I felt like my efforts to communicate with the nursing home were constantly met with resistance and indifference. I decided to seek legal counsel and was introduced to Josh Rubin. I had an extensive story to tell because Aunt Audrey and I had been on such a long, difficult journey. Mr. Rubin listened attentively to everything I had to say. My case, I knew, was very difficult because Aunt Audrey was 90 and I just didn’t think anything could be done. I thought things were hopeless…but Mr. Rubin said that he could help us…he could help Aunt Audrey. Finally, after so long, I felt that there was hope. It would be a complete understatement to say that Mr. Rubin was on this journey with us…it was so much more than that. Mr. Rubin became part of the family. He called to check on Aunt Audrey, to see how we were doing, he visited Aunt Audrey at the hospital, he was always available to talk, to explain each step of the case and where we were in the process..and this transpired over a period of several years. Mr. Rubin was always responsive and he wasn’t just an advocate for Aunt Audrey, he was our friend. He attended Aunt Audrey’s wake when she passed and sent flowers. Our case was not easy…it proved to be very tricky towards the end but Mr. Rubin kept us in the loop and was always reassuring so we never lost hope that we would be successful. I’m not sure where we would be or what would have happened if we didn’t have Mr. Rubin as our attorney…so I’d just like to say thank you for fighting for my beautiful Aunt Audrey…there just aren’t enough words to express how thankful we are.
