I'm a retired law enforcement officer looking for a career change due to Covid-19. I reached out to some friends in the Private Detective (PD) business. My colleagues recommended I take the Williams and Nickl PD prep course for the Illinois PD test. I signed up and I'm glad I did! The course was conducted via Zoom because of Covid, but the content and presentation did not suffer at all. Ed and Fred know their stuff and are very professional and did an outstanding job. I’ve never had to get a lawyer before and I was very hesitant and nervous. Fred and Edward were extremely kind and very knowledgeable. They held my hand through navigating getting my license. I’d like to share my personal experience with Williams and Nickl Law firm. Like many professionals who might have stumbled along their path, redemption and finding your way back can be difficult, confusing, and often times leaves you isolated with no one to turn to for guidance. My case was complex to say the least and my previous license attorney didn’t give me many options or even laid out the possibility of me ever getting my license back. Health care professionals are advocates for patients, but never did I experience that with my previous attorney. Fred has been an advocate for me throughout my whole ordeal. He has always had my best interest in getting my license reinstated. I’ve never seen an attorney go through lengths for a client. Fred has treated me with the utmost respect and does not see me as a case, but as individual who is willing to get back on the right path. I am very fortunate to be a client for Williams and Nickl.
