My stepmom overstayed her visa in the 1990's, and then got arrested, detained, and deported in 2019. I contacted Alliance for Immigrant Neighbors, who in turn connected me with Katherine Del Rosario. She went above and beyond expectations, and did everything within her power to arrange things so that my stepmom could return to the U.S. as a permanent, legal resident. Katherine always treated us with compassion, kindness, and respect. I have full confidence in her and her abilities. Because of her, my parents have been reunited and are now happy and healthy. My heart goes out to all the families that have experienced the pain and trauma that comes from being forcibly separated from one another. I hope for these families to be reunited with each other.
