Mr. Kililis was a wonderful attorney. Not only is he kind, humble and caring about his clients, but he was able to get my case dismissed! Thank you, George! I would hire him again in a heartbeat if ever needed.

my husband and I set up a meeting for a consult with George Kililis. The meeting started out awesome. I advised him how impressed I was with our phone call as I am not an easy human. I admitted this straight up, within one minute of walking into his conference room. I was trying to retain George’s services to help my husband with a misdeamor case he needs guidance with. George started soft understanding but the meeting took a very unprofessional turn as I was simply questioning his philosophies and way he practices vs the federal system. George found out that I had called the police chief to report an incident that happened with the police and my husband. My husband was racially profiled by the crystal lake police officers so I reported it so we could be protected and it was documented that we were not given fair unbiased law officers at our door. He literally screamed at me that my husbands going to be deported and loss his kids because of my taking proper precautions when I felt we were being mistreated by law officers. He was arrogant and stated I am a selfish human who makes everything about me...this was how he acted to an educated, woman questioning him, simply debating and picking his brain to ensure he is the right fit for me. He literally slammed his books down in front of him, stated we were done and that “your husband will end up deported or in jail with you by his side”. He then went into a separate part of the building and didn’t even walk us out. How can a Criminal lawyer deal with murders and rapists but not an educated passionate woman? He overstepped his boundaries with trying to read me instead of solve our current legal issue. He was so unprofessional, and arrogant. “You just lost the chance to have the best attorney the only attorney who can help you!” I have never had a professional man discuss me and my psychological behavior patterns. He is narcissistic and honestly an over pompous man. He bullied us into thinking a simple misdeamonor would change his life When he’s never been in any trouble. Please, if I can save anyone from going through what we were put through I would be satisfied. Not only did I waste my time but I walked out amazed someone with that temper runs a business

You will read some negative reviews, and like any review, you should take it with a grain of salt. Often times, in heated family matters its hard to see a positive outcome and sometimes people get frustrated and take it out on the lawyer. I have seen so many of these cases over my years in the justice system to know that emotions run high. I find Chris very professional and willing to work with his clients to achieve the best possible outcome.

I hired him to represent me in a criminal case..he told me that his fee included filing for an expungement as soon as the time was right(a couple years wait, I do not remember exactly)...he said they would do it automatically...well when the wait time was up, I called, and got told that there would be a $500 fee for filling out the paperwork--which is something that can be done without a lawyer...but he now wanted $500!

As per a few of the other reviews here, Chris comes across as if he will fight for you and is very prepared. He advised us that there would be a certain retainer fee for him and another fee for another attorney involved. We stressed to him that we had a strict budget. Unfortunately, a simple case for legal guardianship dragged on from 1 court date to three. In fact, we were advised it was a slam dunk case and instead nearly didn't go through. He came across as very unprepared and nervous in court and by the time everything was finished it was at least twice the cost. Save your money and find someone with more experience. Unfortunately, I would never refer anyone to him.

Stacy Stusowski is an attentive and intelligent attorney. She is our real estate lawyer and has done a fine job of assisting us in closing our house sale in Lake County Illinois.

We hired Chris for my husbands child support case. My experience was horrible. We gave information to Chris that wasn't acted on. Instead of fighting he was intent on brokering unfavorable deals with the opposing side. In addition, he was grossly unprepared and left our case in shambles. I really believe that we would of been better off representing ourselves. Please think twice before hiring Chris; as soon as you pay your retainer you won’t hear from him at ALL. Watch out for this attorney.!!!!

At first meeting nice, polite told you everything you wanted hear. Then from there it looked like it was going to be good hire but it was not the case. As one of the reviewers mentioned communication way below average. Follow through on his work very questionable. All I kept hearing “I’m trying”. The retainer sure went was working hard. Cause that ran out fast. After that $340 an hour for writing a letter that was more than likely a copy and paste process. Once my case was resolved, I say resolved with heavy sarcasm. Could not get a hold of the guy for general questions about my case. This is a good one. I was charged for what I would have to say was a 10 minutes conversation. After that he did not answer phone calls or emails. Hey mister Haaff as I said in my last email to you. I least have the common curiosity to say “ I wish to no longer with you”. He couldn’t even do that either. If your looking for someone to represent you, don’t go to this guy. Bottom line he is not very good and not professional.

To put it politely dont hire Mr. Haaf unless you only need assistance in walking into the courtroom and help bending over while your in there... he tells you what you want to hear but come down to it only proceeds to us his intellectual banter to cover the fact that he is just there for the appearance... I assure you he doesn't care about your situation and won't put up the fight that he makes you think he will.
