We lost my stepdaughter Tina Marie of abestos cancer.She was 35.Gori took her case and got a settlement.Now as time goes on still no payment.They say there is a lien we say pay it.It has been months and nothing.Not sure of amount or if we will ever get the settlement.

I of course was devestated to learn I had mesothelioma….i saw their commercials on the television and had zero idea what it was all about. I just pitied whomever needed to use them for this reason…. Little did I know lurking in my body was this same disease … of course no idea that I had ever been exposed to something so deadly. So when this came up I and family researched pretty hard all of the “ meso” attorneys out there. No they are not all created equal. Some states allow more liberal uses of the definition of exposure to asbestos. Some states you have to prove a constant and steady exposure to asbestos… it’s difficult when you don’t have a clue where it came from to begin with… but with the right questions you can start to wake up some memories that you had so many years ago…. With me I was going back like 56 years ago so they are very diligent in their taking info down and even asking more of the right questions. Greg was incredibly patient as we dug through my daughter’s father’s info….. my family’s info … they did as they said they would and got things done pretty quickly. I got my first check less than 90 days from the day I retained them and very seriously the cash release check started almost a year from when we got the first check… and then they started rolling in. They said they would really work on this case as they do with all their cases knowing time is not necessarily our friend. They truly have…. I know we didn’t expect for me to actually live long enough to be able to take advantage of these $$ coming in…But it has been three years ago now since I was diagnosed . Yes the checks are slower but even now they are still coming in. They didn’t just go after “ the low hanging fruit” … they went successfully after the harder ones also. I recommend them highly. I am a person of such little patience and they have all been very kind to me. Greg has done a wonderful job of keeping my feet planted and not losing it in the midst of all this craziness of meso. I hate that we have the need for such incredibly knowledgeable law firms where this cancer is concerned but thank goodness we do! I am very glad I chose GORI LAW FIRM. I forgot to mention after we decided on a firm they had one of their partners on Monday at my home in a small EAST TEXAS town. . We decided Sat afternoon late. If one happens to see this review and are trying to make a decisions n I hope this helps you in decision making.

This is unfortunately, the FIRST NEGATIVE review I've ever left. I would much rather spread the words of a positive experience, but that is SADLY not the case with Gori Law Firm. My father passed away a year and a half ago, and hired this firm, being his next of kin it was put into my hands, and as of the devastation of losing a parent wasn't hard enough, this law firm has been nothing short of inconsistent, unorganized, and has ZERO customer service support. I have to wait months before I finally decide to break down and call for ANY updates. They pushed a court hearing that I was hoping to finally get in front of a judge to next year FOR A WHOLE YEAR LATER WITHOUT INFORMING ME, among farrrr too many other things to list here. I am devastated and am trying to see my options now with advice on this case, and where I should go from here. I never thought I'd have to possibly consider replacing my lawyer this far into a case, but I can't get ANY FOR SURE answers on this case 1 and a half years later, THATS ALREADY BEEN SETTLED ON!!!!!!! I am researching heavily on what my next steps should be. This is really affecting my mental health and causing a lot of stress in my life!

This firm is the best

Completely unprofessional. Sent me a court summons on behalf of their client wanting a $50,000 dollar settlement for a company that I was never a part of. In fact, I would have been 4 years old at the time they are alleging their customer worked for me. Complete frivolous lawsuit without doing any research. They should be held accountable for their ignorance. I was woken up after 8:30pm by someone pounding at my door. Woke up my 6 month old child. This is borderline harassment.

Terribly disappointed. They are handling part of the 3M earplug lawsuit for veterans and after all the fees they end up with nearly 50% of the settlement. How is that morally acceptable to take half of a settlement offer from combat veterans? Typical lawyer mentality, take as much as we can no matter who the client is.
