I would ask my lawyer a simple question and it would take weeks for him to get back to me. It seemed as though my case wasn’t being worked on until I would keep calling. We would be told things that wouldn’t happen. Like phone calls, reports being dropped off, etc. that never happened. It seemed our lawyer was lying to us to keep us “happy.” Finally after almost 7 YEARS of this case going on we settled. We didn’t see a dime for a few months then it took 9 months after the settlement to receive all of our money. This is just a small glimpse into what we had to deal with.

The illness and subsequent death of our loved one was an overwhelming time. When Tim got sick, he had to quit his job and we relied solely on my salary, while the medical bills were mounting and our oldest daughter was starting her freshman year at college. My daughter tried to study while knowing her father was dying. My youngest got her driver’s permit the same day as one of the days Gori Julian attorneys were preparing Tim for a deposition – she never had a chance to show her father her full driver license at 16. My son, out of school and ready to live on his own as a young man, was trying to figure out how to take care of his mother and sisters if he was suddenly the “man of the house.” Meanwhile, I was trying to work full time, be a full time caregiver to my quickly ailing husband, take care of my children, meet everyone’s emotional needs and just keep my family as normal as possible. My husband passed peacefully knowing his family would be provided for and that he had taken steps to make that happen. Even after Tim passed away, they cared for me with respect, helping me navigate the distribution of funds process. I'd give anything to have my husband back in my life and for him to never have had this horrible disease. I want to start with an apology for the length of this comment. The short version, they are great! Long version...After finding out that my father was ill, we had a lot to think about and even more questions about why. I searched the internet and seriously prayed that God would send a group that was honest, patient and trusted to help us understand what we knew nothing about. I spoke with a young lady, Annette C., on a Sunday evening who took her time to answer all the questions I had without concerns about the weekend or the time. The next 2 business days I recieved a lot of info on my father's situation and what the next steps were to follow and who to call. Gori Julian and Associates was the firm I connected to and immediately was set with an representative who actually came to our home to talk to us and answer questions about why we were in the situation we were in. Step by step and with every deposition someone was available either by phone or came to town. The honesty of everyone was a breath of fresh air. I know first off this is unfortunately a business and some one has to represent people who are wronged and you have a lot of people who would prey upon people in such a situation, but we were treated with dignity and respect and we never had a question if this was the firm to go with or not. They know the business of the companies that were involved and how we were looked upon. While dealing with grief over my husband's illness and eventual passing, Gori Julian and Associates, showed compassion, caring and total understanding. Sent in non specified documents after phone interview said I had valid abilify case. After giving up waiting for emails to be answered i ended up sending in what i felt could help my case asking if i should fill out a statement etc.. got sent certified letter saying client relationship is ended upon review if case. What case? Spent lots of time on this with little guidance except prepaid envelope saying send what u think helps. Very disappointed. No explanation regarding what would help or what decided my case is not worth pursuing. Only was returned one of the two packages I sent in for case review. Update:Below they replied saying someone would reach out to me in a few days. Still have heard nothing back.
