I have started this review more than 5 times already !!!!! I simply can’t find the PERFECT words to describe my personal experience with Sivia Law and with Todd Sivia, who has represented myself and my family over the past 20 years with numerous situations, but I will try my best !! No words can completely describe the emotions and appreciation I have for Todd for what he has done over 20 years and I will FOREVER be thanking him !!!!! He cares. He truly cares about people and it shows in his work ethics, morals and what he has accomplished over the years!! I consider him “my friend “… Trust in him. I highly recommend. They are very meticulous and took me through setting up a will and trust. Very receptive to any questions or problems I may have had. Very professional and personable.

My sister and I were very, very disappointed with the service we received from Todd Sivia, other lawyers, and his paralegal on his staff. We are acquaintances and friends with the Sivia family. After a bad experience with a previous lawyer, we decided to go to Todd and see if he could help us with a probate case dealing with our Mom's estate. We met with Todd and he said he could help us. We gave him $3500. . Todd did tell us that if we had his paralegal do some of the work it would save us money. He told us she was very competent. Okay -- several months later we had yet to hear anything from his office. We called and talked to paralegal and we were told all the paperwork that she would need. Numerous times I went to their office because she couldn't find the papers I had given to her. I would have to go the bank again and get more copies of the same papers to give her again. The paralegal also made several mistakes with getting the bank accounts mixed up. Fortunately I saw the mistakes and called again to correct everything before she sent it to the opposing lawyer. There were several times I would call her and she was very rude. i truly felt like I could do a better job than her. During these months we had not heard one word from Todd Sivia. I asked the paralegal about the need to talk to Todd . Then I was told that Todd had passed our case to a junior lawyer. This was done without telling my sister and I about it. We were told that Todd was very busy with his new businesses that he was starting. I made a call to the new lawyer and told him how upset we were with the paralegal. She was rude, unorganized and careless with our case. I told him of the major mistakes she had made with case and the numerous papers she had lost and I would have to take copies of them up to the office again. Now listen to this, every phone call or email we sent we were charged. Even when she had made the mistakes and had to rework a paper we were charged for it. The phone call to the new lawyer where I told him about the problems with the paralegal we were sent a bill. I could go on and on about the problems with Sivia Law. We ended up paying several more thousands of dollars to Sivia. Even though we had a personal connection with the Sivia family we felt like it didn't matter to him. He passed our case to a different lawyer without anyone informing us. I thought that was rude but maybe all lawyers do that when they see a case with more dollars. Well I hope someone will read this. If you want a lawyer who will keep you updated on your case don't go to Todd Sivia. He appears to be only interested in opening up more offices. And beware any phone call or text you will be charged. Even when we just wanted an explanation we had to pay. I think we should have been on his staff and gotten paid for all the mistakes and mishandling of the paralegal s work that we corrected.

Horrible and a waste of time. Tried hiring for a lawsuit appeal. Had 30 days to appeal. One week before the deadline was told they were too busy to take it after telling me how much retainer was and they could do it. All I was waiting on was paying the retainer. Now I don't have enough time to even retain another lawyer in time and will have to do it myself. Wasted over 2 weeks of repeated calling trying to find out how much and get a meeting. Do not waste your time! If time is of the essence find another lawyer. I think I was just told the things I was to keep me on the line and waited until time ran out. It was said at the beginning I only had 30 days, so no excuse. Should've just said no and I would've had a lawyer already. Didn't even want to leave a 1 star review...deserves no stars.
