In my experience Deanna is one of the few straight-forward, honest divorce attorneys around. I've gotten the feeling from previous attorneys that they were more interested in billing hours first, and my case second. Deanna is just the opposite! She will tell you when to fight, when to settle, and when not to worry. And, she knows the divorce laws in IL inside and out. I have the utmost faith in Deanna, and wouldn't hesitate to use her again. I have no regrets in hiring Deanna and you shouldn't either.

I was 2k miles away during this entire case, but never felt like it because Deanna (and all the employees) are incredibly responsive, regardless of day or time that I needed them. They made me feel like I was a part of their team, working together to make the best of a difficult situation. They are fair, but firm, with their recommendations and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to work with a professional and responsive team.

I have worked for three other family law attorneys in Lake County and left them all by choice, and I can say with 100% honesty that not only Deanna but her entire staff are the most honest, caring and hard-working people that always do their best, fight for their clients and always put their clients best interest first even when more often than not in a divorce or custody matter you are working with good people who are displaying some of their worst behavior because they are highly emotional. Deanna and her staff always think about their clients well being and getting them the best possible outcome that they can. I am not writing this review because I worked with Deanna, Deb, Lauren, Ann and Erika I'm writing this review because I want to and to inform anyone looking for an attorney if you want the absolute best Deanna and her staff are it.

I had a great experience with this law office. Deanna can be very busy and every one in the office is always willing to help and get you answers. Deanna was very knowledgeable. When I went through my divorce 3 years ago I didn’t know much about it and was left with many questions. Deanna and her office helped me get a lot of answers and helped me get what was deserved to me.

Deanna and her staff are knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to work with as they guide you thru the divorce proceedings. Ms Bowen is excellent in the due diligence process and identifying areas of concern. She works very hard to protect your assets and to minimize your liabilities. I am glad I utilized her law firm and that helped mitigate a bad situation.

No court case is ever fun or pretty. It gets real ugly real fast, however Deanna and her staff did everything they could to help me feel comfortable and explain everything I needed to know about exactly what step we were in during court for my child custody case. They respond faster then ever even on weekends. They make sure you know all your options and the truth about what they think a judge will say even if it isn't what you want to hear. Her office would try to get matters resolved out side of the court room and keep me updated on if they heard back from opposing console. Deanna brings a strong female presence to the court room and shows women can be strong and brilliant. If I ever need a lawyer again I will 100 percent be going back with Deanna and her staff, however I do hope to never see them again unless it is outside of the court room! Thanks for being honest and upfront about everything. I am very grateful with the way my court case turned out and while they don't count wins and loses in the court room I can say for a fact my case was a win for them and me!

After our dissatisfaction with two attorneys, we found Deanna.  Finally an attorney that was capable of taking action and the ability to make things happen. Deanna actually listened to our story, as it had some unusual circumstances, and understood very well our situation.  Deanna and her associates were always available for questions and quick to reply.  She had kept us fully informed along the way as of what to expect and how the system is set up so that we understood as well. There were some points along the way when we actually needed conferences, no problem to set up. In the end we have finally come to a satisfying conclusion.
