Denis Gravel is an amazing attorney. Cumulatively, he spent about 5 years working on my case. After surviving domestic battery, Denis worked to ensure the safety of me and my daughter by his representation in an order of protection, and obtaining a fair custody agreement. He is kind, empathetic, and has been so supportive every step of the way throughout my case. I can not thank him and his staff, especially Jill Buchanan Ebert, for all of their help and support throughout all of these years. I could not recommend a better attorney in Lake County than Denis.

The Law Firm of Denis M. Gravel & Associates recently represented me in my divorce case. The Court proceedings and adjudication was not long or complicated. Denis Gravel is more profit oriented than client oriented. He came up with a laundry list of charges, no personality, took my $3500.00 and months later withdrew from my case with no explanation. He thinks he’s untitled because we’re in need. THIS IS NOT THE ATTORNEY YOU WANT !!

I first would like to say this law firm started at a disadvantage. They were battling a slew of inconsistencies at the very beginning of my divorce an order of protection that was untrue and I had no parenting time once so ever and then enter stage left Jason Montemayor and Denis Gravel. These two men successfully showed me the steps and path I needed to take to overcome all of the tales told against me. Denis from the very beginning told me this is an uphill battle and that it will be hard and frustrating but we are on your side to help and didn’t not lie to me about what they could do to help me. Jason from the moment he stepped on the case and sat as my legal counsel became my lawyer and conscience he has never lied to me and even let me vent a few time when needed to get out my thought by far the most professional and caring team I have ever had through one of the most difficult moments in my life and I would recommend them to all who are having a problem in divorce from the start Jason and Denis to both of you thank you and to Christine the thankless nights of preparing paperwork and sending invoices I thank you as well as. I am ending this nightmare with 50/50 custody of my daughter and get to live a happy life.

Mr. Gravel is very honest and helpful. Unlike some other lawyers that just kind of want to take your money, he gives great advice and is very kind and super informative. I really do appreciate his time.

Though divorces aren’t free; I was blown away with the fact that I had a top-notch legal team that was AFFORDABLE! I was able to set up a realistic payment plan, too! Denis didn't say a word in court, the wrong calculations for child support were sent to opposing counsel and I was blindsided by the cost increase for child support. He had my case for a year and never calculated the correct amount. When I spoke to him on the phone he told me "buy a smaller house" and "you just don't want to pay for your kid". He was in a hurry to get off the phone because he didn't want to answer my questions about the misinformation. I had a $400 bill remaining but was just given a $2500 bill for his time. I called and left a VM but he never called back.
