Do not use this law office for your divorce case. This was the worse experience ever. They left out so many important details in my divorce decree. I am still in court over a year later fixing all the things that was omitted. They do not respond, they ignore your emails and text messages even when they are wrong. They are heartless!

This Lawyer is a misogynist. He preys on young women (and maybe men) to make his money and win “cases”. He owns the Copper Still in Homewood. No one should patron there or be a client of his. He is a disgrace to women and the #metoo movement. His establishment was unfortunately patroned by me the night I was physically and verbally assaulted by the client he so flippantly and arrogantly got off.

For two years I went through hell and back with my son’s mother, fighting for my rights as a father. As soon as things went so far south they were unsalvageable, I reached out to Dave McDermott of McDermott Law Group here in Homewood, Il. Immediately, he put me at ease. Told me what my rights were, what I was entitled to and that himself and his firm were going to take care of me. Fast track two years later, almost to the day, we walked into court for our Trial(s) and we not only won and got everything I wanted, I even got more. To say I’m happy with the McDermott Law Group would be an understatement. I am now able to enjoy my father son time with my beautiful 4yr old boy, more than his mother EVER allowed me to.
