IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. NOT EVEN WORTH THE 1 STAR. Patrick O'Brien is the most unprofessional lawyer I have ever dealt with. I constantly try to call/email and receive no response. Additionally whenever I do have a confirmed appointment for him to call me he NEVER calls I have to call and always told "he is in court in another county right now". So my question is why doesn't his office call and say he is unable to meet at that time. Nope nothing I have to call after waiting for 30 - 60 minutes. I am Active Duty Military and live in another state so when I was in town for a court date he showed up 45 minutes late and then left the court room and I had to go and find him to come back. And his paralegal Suzy Berrones is the rudest person ever. She acts like you are interrupting her. I am still waiting for my court orders from when I went to court in September 2018. Don't waste your time or money.

When I called to initially schedule my free consultation with Patrick O'Brien, I was able to meet with him the next day. Even though my case pertained to minor traffic citations, Mr. O'Brien treated them as a priority. He took his time to answer all my questions. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He called or emailed me to keep me informed of upcoming court dates or pertinent information. I would recommend this attorney, and would use him again.

Patrick took my case to trial instead of pushing me to take a deal that i was not comfortable with. We lost at trial but he never stopped fighting for me. After the jury found me guilty he kept fighting and the the Judge overturned the jury's verdict and i was found not guilty of the charges the state brought against me.

I had originally hired Mr.Lawson, Mr.O'Brien's partner, for my case where I was charged for a Class B misdemeanor for speeding. Due to being out of town, Mr.O'Brien ended up representing me at court. My fine was cut to a minimum and the major charge dropped. Mr.O'Brien and Mr.Lawson both delivered exactly what they said they would and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. If I ever have to hire a lawyer again in Kankakee, I would definitely hire them again!

Mr. O'Brien was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to me. He was responsive to all my questions and needs. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a lawyer who will go to bat for you. I valued his opinion in concerning my situation.

Had a routine traffic case, but had to set thing up while I was out of town. Mr. O'Brien delivered everything he said he would. He was responsive to my calls, and the results were exactly as promised. Hope I don't need these type of services again, but if I ever do, I would not hesitate to call Mr. O'Brien again.

Mr. O'Brien was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the specifics of my case. He kept me and my Co-defendent up to date on court dates and made sure we knew what was going on around us. Pat made sure that what he recommended was only that, he wasn't making a decision like some attorneys, he was giving us an option to take and didn't force us in a direction. He's the best and if I ever need legal help again I'd sent my money his way and I urge you to do the same. He cares, he's intelligent, quick witted and an all around good guy and great lawyer, that's why I say 5/5.

I wish i didn't have to hire an attorney in the first place, but since I did, I'm glad I went with Mr. O'brien. He was quite professional and honest when it came to what results I could expect, but did everything he could to get as good of a result as possible, which he was able to achieve! He is an overall great attorney, and a nice genuine person on top of that. I hope to not need him in the future, but if i do require council there is no question that I would hire him again.
