Everyone i have talked to is extremely unprofessional, and don't seem to care about anything. Worst service i have ever received even though I'm trying to give them my money for a ticket that i should have never received

Received a ticket for not wearing my seat belt and the officer directed me to pay online. The ticket states to pay online between 14-21 days of issuance. I have checked the website daily since receiving the ticket by using both my name/birthdate and my driver's license number and no ticket has been found. I e-mailed the courthouse 2 days ago (day 19) to figure out what was going on. Today (day 21), I called the courthouse and have been on hold for over an hour and a half. Horrible customer service!!! I am trying to give you money!!!!! What a frustrating process. If I had known paying online was going to be such a hassle, I would have just mailed in the ticket within the 7 days of receiving the ticket.

As a Chicago divorce lawyer, I think the clerk's staff does a great job of handling a high volume of cases. The staff handles an overwhelming number of cases.

The clerks office should be ashamed of themselves. I drove over 4 hours to pick up a copy of a file for my office. Not only did I have to sit there and wait for another 2 hours while they helped other people, but then they had the audacity to be rude and condescending. Regardless of the amount of trash they have to deal with everyday, when someone comes in not in sweat pants speaking politely and making it very clear how important the correct paper work is to obtain the least they could have done was get me the correct case file. I have been to almost every court house in the state and this was by far the filthiest, most ignorant one of them all.

I'm an Indiana resident who got a ticket in Illinois. I called the clerks office to see if I could pay a ticket I had received and I didn't realize that I was going to be dealing with quite possibly the most rude, unprofessional, uncaring people. When I finally got a hold of someone after waiting about 15 min. on hold, I got greeted by the woman on the phone and started to explain my situation only to be talked over and cut off with every other word that came out of my mouth. After about 2 min. on the phone she then tells me that she needs to get my story straight so she can "talk to me more intelligently". I finally get to tell her the situation and problem I was having with the ticket for her to basically belittle me and talk to me as if I was a child who didn't understand anything. She continued to mock me by talking really slowly to make sure that I was "getting what she was saying". All I wanted to know was, how much my ticket was, where and when I could pay, and if at all possible to set up a court date. What could have been a 2 min. phone conversation turned into a nightmare with a woman who sounds like she absolutely hates her job. Of course, nothing will be done about it but this is fair warning not to expect some nice voice at the other end of the phone. If you do, I believe it is a miracle. If it were at all possible to give a rating of no stars that would be my choice.
