If your case involves anything other than jaywalking or loitering I'd seek representation elsewhere.. Attorney John Holmes makes Jack Schwartz look like Johnny Cochran.... Zero litigation skills.

John Holmes is by far theeeee worst attorney I have ever had interaction with and will end up costing me an additional 500 I don't have, and possibly my parental rights. His inability to orally articulate to the judge that the interrogatories in my contested adoption case were partially complete and could be turned over to opposing counsel was and is sophomoric.... I repeatedly told this would be paper tiger that the questions in the interrogatories were partially complete, and could be turned over. He sat there complacent as opposing counsel along with the judge went to school on him with constructing their pretrial narrative of painting me out to be dragging my feet with discovery... ***I will preemptively point out after missing appointment to go over discovery with him, I called his office to reschedule and my call was not returned until the day before my court date.

By far the worst experience ever. It was obvious that Andrew was working for the other side. He didn't call ONE witness on my brother's behalf. He didn't ask ANY of the questions that my brother asked of him, and ultimately has been turned into the bar for assisting in the violation of my brother's rights. I KNOW that GOD will take care of him, but the time that we are without my little brother until his appeal is insane. YOU will have to stand before GOD just like the rest of us Andrew and I pray that you get your life right with CHRIST and learn to do the right thing so other families are not suffering like the family of LELEN LEE BONDS! Not only is he a higher-charging attorney in the area, he created a special, extra-high rate for my case because it was going to require some nights and weekends, according to him. Not good value. He literally took months to respond to some emails and phone call attempts. It's hard to believe an attorney is legally allowed to be this unresponsive. By doing absolutely nothing, he wasted an entire year of my daughter's life as she is bounced around between baby sitters not seeing her father, me. He did not put forth one iota of effort in my fight to get more time with my daughter. Here's the worst part: he waited until right before the trial to withdraw. Again, it's hard to believe an attorney is legally allowed to do this, to sabotage his own client's case so badly. If you are a father in a tough divorce case, avoid William Breedlove.
