She cancels appointments a lot

Late to every court date. Told me to pay 1500$ on a Friday and my court date was on Monday. No warning at all.

Cheryl Powell is an amazing attorney. My daughter used her for child custody after she was served by her ex boyfriend and she settled it the way my daughter wanted it and what was best for the child. We also are using her for another service and she is top of the line.

Horrible customer service, from an elitist condescending woman. Insinuated my husband might be a criminal (and I am assuming it was based on his long hair and tattoos, not his ethnicity). ...told me one thing and switched it a week later...and when confronted with it, called me a liar from a restricted number and after I already told her I would seek council elsewhere.

If your a male don't waste your time. I was humiliated and shamed. When I went in for an initial consultation she was so disorganized, answering her cell phone and questions from her secretary as we talked. No privacy. Then she shamed me over my case and all she wanted was money. There is no way I would use this Attorney.

Cheryl has represented me and my family in 3 cases in the past year. She cared about what happened to me and my family members and what the outcomes of our cases were. She did her best to keep our fees reasonable and get as much done at one court date as she possibly could. One case was in randolph county. It was a complicated divorce case. She walked in like a boss and took care of it in one court date! Another case was a very involved dcfs case. We did have several court dates in that case but we won! How many people really beat dcfs? That is really hard to do but cheryl did it! I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to anyone and everyone! There's not a better family or divorce attorney and truly mean that with all my heart and soul. Cheryl was a blessing to our family. I can't thank her enough!

Cheryl Powell is to be commended for the manner in which she recently represented our family in our court case. We are very happy with her & found her to be a professional on every level. Cheryl Powell is the go to lady for any legal matter. She is a hard working attorney that cares about her clients, she won mine for me and I owe her the biggest thanks in the world. Because of her I get to move on with a bright future for me and my family. While on my case she made me feel like I was more then a client, I was someone she cared about and I feel like the case meant just as much to her. This is one good attorney you ll ever come across. What a blessing she has done for me .
