My engagement with Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit has been deeply unsatisfactory. Their inclination towards intimidation over a thorough examination of facts is concerning, compounded by the fact that their responses take about a week, and these responses are consistently low effort. Even when I went out of my way to make it as easy as possible for them to understand a mistake made by the HOA management company, it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Instead of addressing the issue, they persisted in demanding double the amount the HOA charged, with an insistence on immediate payment. This, despite my attempts to clarify and rectify the situation, showcased a disconcerting lack of attention to detail. The evident reliance on legal assistants and the lack of responsiveness raise serious questions about their commitment to client concerns. I would caution others to be aware of their rights and not be swayed by hasty threats. If you are in the right, don't hesitate to stand your ground; their lack of diligence may work against them in a fair legal battle. I hope I do get to deal with them again as it will be an easy fight to win.

Awful , no return calls , no return emails . If you are considering using them I would research other agencies and take your business elsewhere . Next step is to file a complaint with Illinois bar association.

HOA NIGHTMARE - charged 2k in fees that are not accounted for for a 1k bill

Unprofessional, never return calls, and communication can take weeks just for simple answers. Highly do not recommend

This law firm is not professional if they do not return phone calls they do not represent associations well I was part of an association at 1400 North Lakeshore Dr. my building was purchased by an investment company they failed to do a proper title search and they will not return my phone call as a result the title company is holding my money and this is been going on for over a year and these attorneys will not call me back, There’s a guy name Bill Who is an attorney and his partner Joe they will not return their phone calls and I’m about to make a complaint with a Illinois Bar association. I don’t recommend this attorney company very unprofessional the way they do business very disappointed Bill Iversen and Jo Kuhnen Are both attorneys that were working with my association neither of them will return my phone calls and neither of them will help me with my title search both of these attorneys will be named in my complaint with a Illinois Bar Association, And The ARDC attorney registration in disciplinary commission. It’s really sad that these attorneys are unethical and are not doing their job correctly representing their clients. Please do not use this company you will regret it

Do not use these lawyers. If I could have given them a 0 I would have. They sent a letter to my lawyer that I had hired to help me with unruly, disrespectful, harassing neighbors. The letter was a bunch of lies and I called them and sent emails regarding what was said in the letter. They are the lawyers on the board for the association (American Property Management). They have never addressed the lies they wrote in the letter to my lawyer or where they received the information.

I have worked with several attorneys and departments over the years within KSN. I have always received prompt, professional responses. Michael Kreibich is the attorney on the majority of my association client's and is always available to provide his professional opinion when asked of, review a dec/rule, or provide guidance regarding new law that affects the communities we manage.

KSN has been great to work with over this past year. Our THOA works directly with KSN and we've had only a positive experience so far. Specifically with Omar. He is very knowledgeable, responsive, and very patient throughout our first year as an association. I highly recommend working with KSN.

Worst place ever! Their lawyers and the firm have all come under fire for some form of fraud. I received a settlement check from one of these lawsuits. I'm not sure why my condo board continues to use them, they're absolutely horrible. They are slow to respond and service is horrendous. Please avoid them if possible.

Overpriced office. Not willing to work with you at all. Charges ridiculous fees just to send one letter. Very rude tone and takes several communications to get a response. I do not recommend this office
