I wish I lived in a nearby area so I could have hired Michael to represent me... Unfortunately I have an ongoing family case involving my very young son. Fortunately after feeling quite lost and overwhelmed with the legal system, while having no clue as to where to turn to find answers, I was able to find Michael's help to be More than "just help". His approach was empathetic, strong and very knowledgeable throughout our consultations. Michael consulted me about my current situation and here's what he did: * Clearly communicated his services and what he may be able to do to assist. * Made me feel more in control and he helped to calm my fears by providing complex legal information in a way that was easy to comprehend (I was SO worried about everything to come before chatting to him!!!) * He's instructive and gave me all possible avenues I could take that he felt applied to my case. * Told me upfront the estimated ranges of what to realistically expect to spend monetarily depending on the actions I wanted to take (he was very accurate). * Very tactful and considerate with how he presented information, but did not sugar coat anything for my benefit. * I could feel that he cared and wanted to help as much as he could. * Ensured I was thinking rationally and keeping a clear picture of both the short and long term pros and cons to each decision. * Was extremely respectful of my decisions. * He wanted me to be as prepared and confident as possible moving forward. * I feel most importantly Michael wanted me to really consider all avenues, make a choice based on what I wanted and felt was right, then communicate that desire to achieve the best results. Sometimes life comes at you all at once and when parental separation and child custody comes into play it can be a very difficult time. Michael Hudzik and his associates helped me tremendously in that time. First, the knowledge he passed on to me helped ease my mind and give me the proper directions I needed to make the best possible choices for my daughter and myself. I am a father, gaining the custody and rights to take my daughter to another state to grow my business and follow our hearts was something I did not think was possible when it came to Illinois law. The process went much smoother than I dreamed it could have. I was told exactly what I needed to do, was offered information to help in case of things changing down the line and he was friendly and open to share some extra information to help ease my mind and soul in such a difficult time. Michael and his associates are very professional and have a way to keep things a little lighthearted which was something I desperately needed. Financially I am not a wealthy man and making any of this a possibility was seeming impossible. The services and time were very reasonable. Smaller tasks were passed on to associates who had lower billing rates and he even suggested I email them directly for a lot of the side tasks a filing I had to do to prevent me from dipping into his rates. Something not all lawyers will do. In the end my daughter has what I believe to be the best possible outcome for her heart, mind and soul which is what matters most. It is my best possible outcome too as she is with me full time and I am able to grow again without the stressors and unknowns that come into play when all the legal platforms have not been set up. I am forever grateful for Michael Hudzik and his associates. This is 8 months since receiving the final signed documents from the courts and there have been no issues since. I also believe that having the communication and visitation guidelines legally set up have helped calm the little communication that I must still have with my daughter's mother. Something I never thought possible. Finally, Thank You!

None attorney I had consulted before I meet Michael gave me hope to have more custody of my daughter and the possibility to be able to relocate with her, but Michael make this happened. Since the beginning Michael understood my needs, my concerns and resolved my debuts, he was always available for me taking my calls, to respond my messages, my emails in anytime. Tony has always been on top of the situations at hand. He makes sure things are clear, and understood before proceeding. He will spend the time to be sure that all is laid out, possible outcomes, obstacles that may arise and how to deal with them. I’ve been dealing with Don since 2014. I know as a fact my case was/is pennies compared to a lot of the stuff he handles yet he still remembers the smallest details about my divorce and situation even after not being in direct contact with him for 1-2 years at a time… you will be hard pressed to find that anywhere in that line of business.

Brett made a mistake in my case telling me my attorneys fees would be covered. During the case he did not communicate well and i had to keep on him to do his job. He will make you sign an agreement prior to taking on your case which will exempt him from any responsibility other then taking your money.

This law firm handled my legal matter swiftly and they were very professional. I will use them again as the need arises.
