The senior attorney who handled my divorce several years ago added Anique Drouin to my case to help with a recent child support issue. Anique is a tough lawyer. She stood up to the craziness of my former spouse without waivering. She answers all questions based on current practices in DuPage Cook. That was helpful since I live in Cook County. I did have any disagreements or problems with her. She spoke to my former spouses attorney and negoitated a fair settlement. She really looked out for my best interest, and I felt confident with her representing me. She never went against my wishes, and she understood my emotional state as I worked to end my marriage. Her advice was valuable and saved me time and money. Her paralegals were also very helpful and nice. My divorce was final in five months, which eliminated stress from my life. She was respectful of my family issues and worked around my schedule. I would hire her again if I ever needed a family lawyer.

My experience with Anique was unique. I felt comfortable about taliking to her about anything regarding my divorce, visitation etc. I could feel that she felt my pain of what I was going through, yet when I was unraveling she would help me to focus on the issue or issues at hand. She is very professional and detailed. Her personality puts you at ease even though you are going through a difficult time. She helped me to understand as to what was important to fight for and what things I needed to accept and "let go". When going through difficult times you need to feel normal and that everything is going to be okay. I guess this is what I liked about Anique the most is that she has this infectious laugh that would relieve the tension and make me feel good about life and my future.
