Do not recommend, poor time management, lack of professionalism, and lack of communication. I was told it would be within reason to have my documents made in a month so I made sure to start working with this group providing all necessary documents 2 months in advance of my wedding. I was assigned the team with Bona Doci, Chelsea Jannereth, and Frank Krautwald. After many attempts at contacting them via email, phone calls, voice messages I found out they had not gotten very far with my case which in the end made me have to delay my planned wedding date in May, cancel family members flights, and stress about not knowing when they would finish my documents. Chelsea Jannereth made many promises that my documents draft would be done and was unable to fulfill the deadline she gave. In the end I got my documents a little over 2 months later and found typos with names and addresses that I ended up having to correct myself.

A great Law firm. They were very responsive and complete while constructing my estate plan. Recommended.

I wouldn’t recommend this law office. I’ve had a family court case for quite a few years and my previous attorney was moving to Chicago (LOVED her) and I needed someone new to take her place. Just on google reviews alone you’d think this would be a decent experience. I was called by Matthew Dorich who said HE would take on my case and I agreed. After that I never met Matt. They sent me a subpar attorney from Peoria to fill in. So not only was I unhappy with my representation I was paying his traveling costs when if matt would have represented me, Matt lived in Springfield. Then, they let me know I’d have to speak with a paralegal and it took them weeks to follow up with me the first time. Every time Marilu would send emails she was very rude. For the amount of money you have to pay you’d think they at least understand compassion or kindness, but they don’t. It gets worse. Noah, my subpar attorney, left the practice and no one said anything to me about it and then marilu was angry with me for emailing him with questions about my case. I will never recommend this law office. Stay away if you can.

Starting a custody battle is the last thing on earth I wanted to do and was scared to death to say the least. Brianna, Tarissa and team took my case on with confidence and enthusiasm! I was treated with caring and respect. They were on point with instructions and information and made it simple and as painless as possible for me. I cant thank you guys enough for all your help!

About a year and a half ago I wrote a glowing review of O’Flaherty in Naperville due to a great experience with a partner who was the primary contact on our community HOA. Great service and communication plus fair and prompt billing. Once the partner left there was little to no communication on pending issues. Unbeknown to our HOA, we were switched from one attorney to another. A retainer replenishment was requested and sent but was totally billed out with no billing statements being sent and little communication on questions asked. Two weeks after receiving the retainer, contact was made by a junior partner on a relatively urgent matter but nothing was communicated about billing. The next day an electronic request for a $5,000 retainer, after $3,000 had been sent a couple of weeks earlier, was received. When checking on all of this, the HOA was informed that the head of the billing department left and there were multiple charges that were billed but never communicated to the HOA. Our community is small and we run a very tight budget and all of the additional charges pushed us over budget. I will say that the billing issue was acknowledged and a small discount of a few hundred dollars was issued but this was not enough to make up for the lack of communication or any real help with our legal issues. The important issue? The HOA ended up handing it and resolving it without legal help. It was a very frustrating experience especially after working with a very knowledgeable attorney who was extremely responsive at the beginning. Our HOA will be taking its business elsewhere based on our negative experience.

O'Flaherty Law handled a unique situation with dignity for me. It was a complicated situation and as a unified team gave me what I needed, in a timely manner that was necessary for the situation. I will use them again. I called many lawyers prior to finding this group, none helpful. But O'Flaherty Law were completely organized and got it done.
