Not only has the firm fought for my rights while in deportation proceedings but also assisted with state charges from while I was a teen that led to it, had very slight chances of proving my case but they were able to do it, and in turn allowed me to stay with my family. I have also heard that their work on my case has helped other lawyers and clients with their verdict using my case law, fast forward a few years... When the time arrived for me to move forward, they also greatly assisted me with acquiring my citizenship recently in record time. I am currently a citizen and no longer have to live with the fear of ICE overstepping their boundaries all thanks to the fine work of the Godoy Law office representation. Can't speak to the lawyer itself but they really need to shape up their client onboarding. I had to jump through multiple hoops, and people, spend $50 and a half hour out of day to finally get a price, that was a significant margin above the competition! Worst part is, this price didn't seem to be adjusted by the conditions of my case, it was a cookie cutter standard price they give everyone. Why not tell me that when I ask before we invest more time into each other? If you want to charge me $50 to meet and than $5800 for the case, at least put me on with a lawyer and not a 'client success manager' to make it seem even remotely worth it.
