I had the pleasure to work with Mario Palermo on a case that involved a car accident and technology. I injured my leg and arm during the car accident. I was not able to fully identify the vehicle. There were witnesses that were able to determine some identification on the van’s company logo. Without more information, the driver of the van could not been identified. I contacted the office of Mr. Palermo and explained my story. We set an appointment to meet. Mr. Palermo and I sat in his conference office and talked about the car accident. I felt heard. When I left his office, I felt hopeful. Mr. Palermo kept communicating with me about the case. He sent a request to Illinois Tollway to find the vehicle that passed through the tollway after the crash. Illinois Tollway sent a stack of paperwork over to Mr. Palermo’s office. The countless hours his office had to go through to pinpoint the description of the vehicle. There was a possible match on the description given by the witnesses that stopped to help me in the aftermath. The lawsuit was filed, and the deposition of the ADT driver was taken. The ADT driver denied that he cut me off and caused the accident. Mr. Palermo informed me that the case was not looking strong, our case was not solid. I began to lose hope. I felt like the case was not going to go anywhere. Mr. Palermo was not satisfied. He did not lose hope, he took another direction. Mr. Palermo subpoenaed all of the records from Illinois Tollway (I-Pass). His office sent out letters to other drivers that passed through the toll way, within the time frame of the crash. This direction was like finding a needle in the haystack. It was a shot, a long shot. Time went by, there was no response until one person contacted Mr. Palermo’s office. We had a breakthrough! The gentleman was 100% sure that ADT van caused the accident. Not only did the gentleman identified ADT as causing the accident, but the gentleman followed the ADT van and saw the driver. Finally, we had a witness who saw the accident. The case settled. Mr. Palermo and I continue to keep in touch, I highly recommend Mario Palermo as your attorney in Personal Injury. He has an exceptional strong eye for details that benefited our case. He has always been kind and courteous during and after our case. The countless hours Mr. Palermo invested on the case were incredible. His analytical and research skills were put on to the test. He succeeded! Mario Palermo’s perseverance exceeded my expectations.
