Called this office to ask a general question about rights of a step-parent. The woman who answered the phone transferred me to the “lead” attorney and when I asked him the question which took all of 10 sec. he told me he needed more information, couldn’t help me and hung up the phone on me. Thinking he must have misheard me, I called back twice and they proceeded to ignore my call. After the third call back I told the woman who answered what happened and all she said was “yeaaa that’s the lead attorney” and said nothing else. Not sure how they could be so unprofessional to someone who could have potentially hired them. In response to the untrue statement you replied with, I did not state that I wasn’t a spouse because I never had the chance to. You were rude and there were no mismatched expectations. It’s my understanding that family law attorneys deal with more than just divorce. I called another firm and received the help and answer I was looking for. Thank you for taking more time to reply to my review than you did in answering my question over the phone before you rudely hung up on me.

I've used their services for various appeals, and they've been successful in appealing some of my propertys' taxes. However, there are times they are not successful. Appealing taxes will not always result in lowered taxes, but VB tends to win more often than other services I've used in the past. I will continue working with VB as I trust their work!

Poor communication. Took forever to finalize divorce, and ex and I wrote our own agreement. No advice given on what to expect. Ridiculous for $3500.00. Would have done it myself if I'd known this beforehand.
