I am working with Naveed Hussain both on a personal and organizational capacity and have had a very pleasant experience.

Back in early 2020 I started to search for a family law attorney to handle my divorce case that had recently been filed. I selected 5 attorneys that I wanted to interview and started the process to interview each of them. After speaking with all five I finally decided on Naveed Husain and his firm Farooqi & Husain. I made this choice for a few key reasons. First and foremost Naveed is a God fearing man. That told me that he would always be honest with me. Secondly he was very direct and blunt with his communication with me. This directness and honesty is something I always look for in a lawyer and third Naveed understood my needs almost immediately. In our early meetings he very accurately predicted the outcome well before it materialized. Once I selected him and his firm I got a chance to meet his staff. They were nothing short of the best legal support staff I have ever worked with. From the very beginning Naveed and at times his partner Ausaf were incredibly strategic in how they planned my case. They had tremendous insight into how family law works and in practice how divorce proceedings would unfold as the case progressed. Naveed’s legal acumen never failed me once. Literally everything he said that would happened happened. In almost two years there was never a single instance where I was surprised. He told me where is was strong and where my case was weak. He was direct and honest as I expected and never once lead me to believe that I could and would gain any legal advantage that wasn’t realistic. Naveed understood the issues as a matter of law and navigated some very touchy issues with deadly accuracy and finesse. Where we needed to argue a matter before the judge Naveed prevailed every single time. In all my 24 years of being in business for myself and having dealt with over a dozen different lawyers with a variety of legal specializations Naveed and his legal mind impressed me the most. He knew exactly what he was doing and nailed it 100% of the time. Never once did I ever feel like we could have done better. Not once. Financially, working with Farooqi & Husain was an absolute blessing. Most lawyers bill in 15 to 30 minute increments. Which means that if you call them for 5 minutes they will charge you for 15 minutes or if you call them for 16 minutes they will charge you for 30 minutes. With Naveed his firm bills in 6 minute increments. Which to me as a client means that he is very fair when it comes to billing. No money wasted at all in unfair billing practices. His rates as a world class lawyer are incredibly fair. Even though, with his experience and acumen the could be billing at an exorbitant rate like most downtown Chicago attorneys would, Naveed maintained a just and very fair bill rate for himself and his staff. In the end I felt like I was working with a large downtown law firm with marble conference tables and a 55th floor view of the lake for prices that were more than reasonable. Never once, in the whole two years did I ever question a single invoice I received from his firm. In the end, after an almost 2 year protracted battle that at times got ugly I got exactly what Naveed predicted I would get almost two years before when I met him in his office in Oakbrook Terrace. Finally now, Alhamdolillah, my divorce is done. My ex got what she legally deserved and got what was legally fair to both her and the children and I got what I expected and was predicted. Naveed navigated some very tricky situations professionally and effectively. All in all working with Naveed and his staff and firm was a fantastic experience and I will recommend him as much as I possibly can for anyone seeking assistance with any family law matter especially divorce cases. This firm should be called Nickel and Dime, LLC, because that's what they'll do to you. They charge unreasonable prices for services like organizing documents just to blast through the retainer within 3 days. They will take on a case regardless if they have experience in that type of matter and then offer no reassurance of their competence as your representative. I chose this firm based on its integrity, but unfortunately I was nickel and Dimed.

Naveed and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with! From start to finish it was a smooth experience and Naveed was able to answer all my questions which was quite a lot. Alhamdulilah for having a good muslim law firm in touch with qualified scholars working to serve the muslim community like this. My experience with Farooqi & Husian Law Office was amazing as Mr. Naveed and his team helped me get through the Divorce and Child Custody matters by providing great advice which resulted in court decisions ending in my favor. As a father, my major concern was the custody of my kids and Mr. Naveed built the case in such a way that, rightfully so, I was able to get majority of the custody of my kids which is a huge relief and is best for my kids future. I am thoroughly impressed by his negotiation skills and how he worked with the other side's lawyer to settle things out of the court as much as possible and ensured that the final settlement decision was in my favor. At no point, Mr. Naveed made false promises and kept me honest with what the law said and it helped me understand what was expected as part of the divorce and child custody process.
