OUTSTANDING!!!!! I'm a father to two of the most perfect kids in the world! Going to court in ILLINOIS fighting for time with my childeren I've only ever heard horror stories. I thank God everyday for the choice in lawyers i made. Joel not only made me feel confident the entire time, but was more than well respected in the halls of the courtroom let alone in the courtroom. Its my understanding hes been doing this a long time and you can sure tell just by walking with him in the hallway. The respect shown to him and the respect he shows to others. Second to NONE. I really appreciated Joel's straightforward, fact-based approach to my divorce. What seemed like an easy divorce (no kids, no assets) on the surface became much more complicated by an ex who was refusing to be a willing participant and chose to drag things out unnecessarily over a two-year period. During that time, Joel was always available to paint a realistic picture of potential outcomes and strategize on the best approach. Ultimately, we were able to settle the divorce under basically the original terms that were proposed. While frustrating that I had to pay for two years of attorney's fees before my ex got on board with the reality of the situation, I so appreciate that Joel supported me in sticking to my guns and was flexible with his pricing to the extent that he could. I would recommend Joel if you are looking for an attorney who is very experienced and keeps you grounded in reality versus letting you get carried away with your emotions.
