Joel is an absolute GREAT attorney. He fought for me and got me very good results. He has been in the business a very long time and knows the ins and outs of family law. He answers emails promptly and responds to calls right away. I trusted Joel and he did right by me. Hiring an attorney in a divorce is a very important thing and Joel is a great choice!

I hired Joel in May 2018, he was easy to work with. We stayed with the exact retainer amount that he had committed to. He was available and would call me back. He kept in loop all the time.He knows a lot of people in the court. I am glad I worked with him. I already recommended him to other friends.

Not having an attorney, I needed one when my wife filed for divorce. A retired judge friend recommended Joel. After the first appointment Joel outlined the steps that would happen during the divorce process. I liked what I heard and saw. He was always keeping me in "loop" as what was happening. I liked how he operated. i.e.: with 35 years as a lawyer, when people speed up, I slow down. And when they slow down I speed up! Great way to operate. Joel is now my "forever attorney" for any thing that requires legal insight.

I hired Joel in April of last year after the death of my soon to be ex husband. My mother in law had brought a custody case against me petitioning for full custody of my four year old son. Over the past year we have been in and out of court regarding the matter. Joel was not only incredibly supportive during this difficult time but was also honest and straightforward. Joel handled my side of a divorce representing me through not only the bureaucracy of Cook County but expected dealings of an opposing attorney. I found Joel to be focused, knowledgeable and organized. He made himself available when contacted and clearly communicated when and how he would follow-up. Joel was very helpful in my time of need. He was my second attorney after a disaster of a first one. Joel was very honest and up front with what I could and could not achieve in my court case. Although I wanted everything, he helped me get (what in the end) was the most important for myself and my children.
