I highly recommend Mr. Stavri Vako.. He is the best.. he is really knowledgeable, intelligent, competent and passionate about his work. He got my aggravated speeding completely dismissed and nothing went to my record. He gives great advice about what should be done in the situation. I was really scared and nervous about the entire situation and he actually took his precious time out of his schedule to make all my worries disappear.. he is really responsive throughout and I am really grateful that we decided to hire him. 😊

Was charged with a dui, even though I was never pulled over, in the vehicle, had the keys in the ignition or on me. Mr. Vako assured me that I had nothing to worry about from the first time I met him, due to no breathalizer or field sobriety tests. I won the statutory summary hearing due to me taking the stand and testifying in my own defense that I was never offered a breathalyzer. Mr. Vako convinced me to take a bench trial vs. Jury, & charged me $7,500. He also advised me to say that I was driving, because the stae could not prove I was drinking. Mr. Vako never argued key points that were in my favor during trial and was fumbling through the paperwork while he cross-examined the officer. I even asked him during a recess why he was not bringing up the fact that I was never offered a breathalyzer or why he was not disputing the officers testimony of me "stumbling all over the place", even though their was video evidence & I clearly was not. His response to me was that as a lawyer you don't want to "make an officer look like a liar". I lost the case & was found guilty. He requested a follow-up hearing via zoom for sentencing, even though you cannot be sentenced via zoom, which the judge advised Mr. Vako of. Went to court in-person for sentencing & Mr. Vako again assured me I would not have to do any time in jail and that everything would be ok. State wanted a week in jail, which then Mr. Vako advised me I should take. I asked for community service & the judge gave it to me as opposed to jail. Mr. Vako then said he was completely done with my case and that was it, unless I wanted to keep my license which would be an additional $3,500

I got a big speeding ticket was about to get hand cuffed but Mr. stavri Vako took care of it and got dismissed and second time I forgot to attend the court only then also he took care behalf of me and got dismissed without me appearing in court. I was charged with a domestic battery in Elk Grove Village. It was the scariest moment of my life especially being arrested for something I didn’t do.
