Just closed my first commercial property transaction with Steve Judge in Chicago, a smooth experience despite the transaction occurring while I was living overseas, 6 time zones away. Steve joined after the property was identified, provided his real estate expertise in reviewing the purchase agreement and due diligence items, in addition to managing the typical interfaces with title, the lender, and seller's representation. For closing Steve went beyond - agreeing to close on my behalf with POA, aligning title and the lender on my usage of a foreign notary, and promptly providing scans of the executed closing documents. Throughout the transaction he was communicative, prompt and clear in his messaging, allowing me to move forward with confidence, even from a distance.
