We hired Fadi to represent us but we dismissed him for a variety of reasons before our real estate case was finalized. He didn’t keep us informed on status of our case. We called and sent numerous texts but he rarely replied. The few times we were finally able to contact his office, the paralegal told us several times he was just too busy with other clients. Early on during our time with Fadi, I told him we were not happy with his lack of communication but it didn’t improve even after he was advised of our dissatisfaction. He didn’t share information from his attendance with Plaintiff and Judge during Case Management Conferences. He didn’t share copies of any motions he filed with court until we dismissed him and then we discovered the legal paperwork had numerous typo spelling errors. Also, one motion where he attached a “Certificate of Service” was not actually filed with the court case. We decided to represent ourselves but he set us up to look stupid due to his numerous mistakes and that makes plaintiff attorney holding more esteem with the judge and jeopardizing our case. One time he cancelled a phone meeting with us by email and his calendar was attached that showed he was attending a party during our scheduled phone conference time. He did refund a portion of the retainer but that really didn’t help for how the Judge views our representation.

My wife and I could not have been more pleased with Fadi in helping us with a deceptive contract situation. We signed a contract with a company for siding and a roof with a contingency that was acknowleged verbally yet not documented with enough detail on the contract. This contingency was that if our in-progress loan did not go through for payment, the contract would be dropped. Due to the bank learning of who we were dealing with and our intent to upgrade our home they declined our loan. The business owner said he had since ordered custom parts and was going to sue us for their value if we did not go through with the job even though we had no funds to oay for it. There were also many previous conversations where I reminded the business owner directly to not order any parts until the loan went through to make funds available. He did not respond to any request and proceeded to take legal action against us. Fadi let us know what concerns and questions we should be asking as he worked behind the scenes on our behalf automatically, and in a timely mannor. His level of professionalism is as good as it gets. His confidence was comforting providing very concrete stability in our resolve to hold our ground against this unjustified legal threat. The case has now been dropped after years of action for which the only eventuality at this point would have been to go to court. Thanks so much Fadi!

I had an opportunity to see attorney Fadi Rustom in action when he spoke at a business meeting on the topic of succession planning. I was impressed with Fadi in a number of ways that gave me insight to what he must be like as an attorney. To begin, Fadi was a poised and well-prepared public speaker. But more importantly, I was impressed with his ability to explain the concepts and the strategies relating to his topic. As a former teacher and present-day writer and coach, I know a natural teacher when I see one. He was careful to illustrate his points with specific examples. He took time to make sure his audience understood. He answered questions and moved at the pace of the audience, rather than expecting the audience to move at a pre-determined pace of his own. In addition, he showed understanding and sympathy for the common and predictable feelings and reactions of clients. He discussed some of these reactions and how to move past them. It is very clear to me that, if I were to sit in his office employing him as my attorney, these are exactly the qualities I would want to see in the attorney behind that desk. I highly recommend Fadi Rustom when you need work done for business formation, business litigation, estate planning, trusts, wills, personal injury, and more.
