I never got the opportunity to meet Matthew Paulson in person. We spoke briefly over the phone for a couple of minutes. I explained to him what I needed to hire him for. I picked his name from the internet directory and his reviews were good. After a month and a half he admitted that he had done nothing and wanted me to resend the information to him. I said forget it and fired him he refused to return all my retainer fee. Then I turned to the ARDC and they said to cut my losses. It was a costly decision to hire Matthew Paulson.

I was accused of an OWI 2nd without a breath test and knew I wanted to fight the charge against me. Without hesitation I was referred to Matt and met with him the same day. He listened to my story and felt confident in a win at a jury trial and most importantly I felt confident in his ability to represent me. It was over a year to the jury trial and I was well aware of the case the entire time because Matt kept me informed and was only a phone call away if I did have any questions or concerns. All in all, even if we didn't win an acquittal at the jury trial, I would still have been pleased with Matt's legal expertise on my case because a jury can be unpredictable. Thanks Matt!
