Kathleen Bailey represented me in a child custody case. I found her to be very receptive, thorough, went to court ready to do battle. I now have sole custody of my child in addition to child support. I have recommended her to numerous people.

I am so disappointed with my representation. The entire time I was working with Miss Bailey I felt uninformed, responses and documents were filed without my knowledge or permission until after the fact, my phone calls were never returned and my questions were never answered. Finally I got tired of never getting any information and asked to be represented by another lawyer within the firm who would call me back and answer my questions. She called me back that time, to inform me she was withdrawing from my cases. This is just over a week before I have to appear in court, and less than a week before a deadline to file more documents. Now I have to come up with more money for another retainer and find a new lawyer within the next week. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized.

Miss Bailey was very unorganized, especially in the court room. It cost me a lot of money to pay witnesses to come to my divorce hearing and she was not prepared with questions, dismissed many of them without my permission (knowing they would make her look like a fool for not being prepared) and basically wasted their time and my money. Not being organized also meant not all issues were resolved during our long hearing, so I had more issues that needed to be decided by the judge after it was over. I felt these were her responsibility, but I was not about to pay her any more money, so we parted ways and I had to find another attorney to finish things up.

Ms. Bailey terminated representation of a case for me 24 hours before my hearing. I would not recommend this attorney to get me out of anything to include a wet paper bag. No way
