I was assured of employment with this lawyer, put my 2 weeks notice in at my current employment was told for a week and a half that I would be contacted about my training and when I could start. After arranging coverage for the 2nd week of the notice, I was still being told I had a job. I was told he would call me this morning, at 12:30pm I went to his office and was told that he couldn’t afford to hire me and he didn’t know how to train me. I have in a text message “reassurance” that yes, I have a job. That was a lie. Now I’m out of work and have to find a new job. 👎🏼

My fiance gave this attorney a retainer 6 months ago and she still has not done anything. We have made several trips to her office as well as numerous phone calls. He gets no response from her whatsoever. To date, no paperwork has been received indicating if progress has been made or not. The retainer check was cashed promptly, however. We feel like we paid for a service and her legal expertise which has not been taken care of. Would like to see this situation taken care of or a refund of the monies provided to her for services not rendered to date. Would like there to be a positive outcome.
