Very satisfied with how David M. & John F. and their company handled my case and how they treated me. They answered all of my questions and concerns about my case and always kept me updated with the process. I recommend these guys and their company to any and everyone. Not only did these guys get the job done but also have a great staff ( secretaries/front desk clerk) that helps along as well.

After much research, everything pointed towards needing to find an attorney that specializes in helping people gain social security disability if I wanted the best chance of it working out for me. I had read that 77% of first time applicants are denied. I found The Good Law Group online and I liked the reviews. I met with Shawn to discuss my situation. Shawn and his team got the ball rolling for my permanent disability claim. It was a relief to know that I had a great team working on my behalf. Three months later, I just got approved! This has to be a record for someone getting approved in short time. If you are facing a temporary or permanent disability, go see Shawn.

They do not return calls. After my 4th call to inquire status of my case the receptionist said she was told to tell me I was too old for them to represent me in a disability case.

I urge you not to use this group for they are a very crooked law office that plays game with the system at the expense of their clients. They were not honest. On the day of my hearing the most important date, Mr Good senior sends his son to represent me, his son makes me sign a new client form to allow him to represent me. Of course I sign with his son out of desperation because my hearing is in 10 minutes. His son Good jr acted very crass towards the judge and ultimately ended up threatening the judge by saying I don't care what decision you make we will appeal! I signed up with Mr Good senior, someone I thought was an honest experienced attorney and he completely let me down and sent his inexperienced son to represent me at my hearing last minute! Again go with the bigger groups you see on TV... this law group is no good!

There are two reasons to hire the Good Law Group to represent you in your SSDI case:
1. They literally wrote the book on the subject.
They co-authored a book that is a literal blueprint to navigating the SSDI system. It includes most of the questions that the ALJ (administrative law judge) will ask.
When you go to a doctor, or need an operation, extensive physical therapy or treatment, you want a healthcare provider with experience. To use a baseball analogy, you want the guys with the most plate appearances. You want the guys that have seen all the different pitches from all the different pitchers. You want the guys that have been in all the different ball parks, and know which way the wind blows. Most importantly, you want the guys that know all the different umpires, and what their strike zones are. That’s what comes with experience, and The Good guys know all the umpires.
2. Sean and Neil have set the standard for SSDI law practices in the NW suburbs. However, they couldn’t offer and maintain those standards without an outstanding administrative office staff. It takes an experienced team to navigate all of the paperwork and medical records that are the foundation of each case.
The tip of the spear in that effort is their administrative office manager Ashley. With all due respect to Sean and Neil, but Ashley is the rock star at the practice, and I’d say that without her, it would be impossible to handle all the cases with the professionalism and attention to detail that they provide. I’m quite certain she deserves a raise. 🙂

In September 2018 I had a family member from MN injured in an accident while traveling in Illinois. Due to the severity of the accident and the fact that he was unconscious and unable to take care of his own affairs, someone recommended contacting a lawyer. An acquaintance that I met while at the hospital recommended John and David at Fisk Monteleone Ltd. The next day they came to the hospital and met with me and they got the ball rolling the next day. They immediately started collecting the necessary information regarding the accident, as well as getting the necessary paperwork started for me to gain legal quardianship to allow me to make decisions for my family member, who was incapacitated, which allowed me to make necessary medical and financial decisions for him. John and David made a very difficult and stressful time much easier. Knowing that John and David were working hard on his behalf, my family was able to concentrate on the necessary care that our family member needed to recover from this ordeal. With the help of David and John this long road was made much easier - they have a great hardworking team - I highly recommend them to anyone in need of legal advice due to a personal injury.
