I can attest that Laura is a top attorney in the Rockford area, and she fights for the safety and well-being of every child. She fought aggressively to get full custody of my wife's son in a matter of months, where other lawyers in town let it drag out for 9 years. Highly recommended. I see some 1 stars here, and it looks like Laura has made some opinionated enemies, most likely the deservedly 'losing' party. Understand that if it's beyond mediation, then hire Laura and keep your rights.

The WORST attorney out there! He’s very unprofessional and doesn’t care about you at all. He always belittled me, talked to me like I was stupid, and always cut me off every time I tried to talk to him. Not to mention the time he called me because I had a question about my case and blatantly yelled at me for a solid 20 seconds after I told him his communication sucked and then hung up! He ignored my messages 75% of the time. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely thankful for the amount of work Laura does. She has such a big heart and will do the best for her clients and definitely goes above and beyond when children are involved. Keep up the great work!

No integrity at all. Lies and uses sneaky tactics to further her own agenda even at the cost of an innocent child. Could care less about the well being of the actual child.

I have been in the process of attempting to get divorced since 2006. During this time I have used two attorneys prior to having the great fortune of meeting Laura Hunt. For the first time in the previous 12 years I finally feel that there is an end in sight and all the credit belongs to Ms. Hunt. With my previous attorneys I was made to feel that I was unimportant and would wait for two weeks at times to get an answer to my email or phone call. With Laura and her exceptional staff (JoAn, Sarah, Tiffany and Beth) I have been made to feel that my case was important. They are attentive and not afraid to challenge my wife’s attorney. I honestly cannot say enough positives here. My only regret was not knowing of Laura Hunt in 2006. If you are looking for a family law firm I highly recommend Laura Hunt and Associates.
