Called to ask if they handled a specific case they stated they don't before I could even thank them they hung up.

Brad is phenomenal. He is very professional and yet personable. I appreciate that he appears in person as much as possible. I felt like I was his only client. Ryan, his paralegal is amazing too. Thanks!

By far the worst lawyer I've ever Delt with he sent a criminal lawyer lady to my court date who was always late. As in always I mean the 2/3 time she even showed up. Then Mr. tengler shows up to extreamly disrespectful to me my mom and my ex girlfriend. I explained my problems I was having with him and his staff he removed himself from my case after he was paid 3k then he has the nerve to call my mother and demand another 500$ .

I have been researching lawyers in the Winnebago area for a while now. Brad's profile made it seem as though he was a person who could do mediation to help parties agree. I have had much success with my ex in coming to mutual agreements, but I just needed extra assistance for another matter. By the time of our consultation, Mr. Tengler had already made up his mind and would wait to listen to my case details. He went into custody issues (which isn't even what this consultation was about), which proved that he needed to take the time to look at my cases. I provided case numbers, and Mr. Tengler could have easily seen that these were all post-divorce enforcement. He claimed my case was too contentious and that there was no way I would be getting more for child support even though my ex's finances went up by way more than 20%. All previous issues with the cases had ended with agreements, but he stated that my cases were too contentious. It was so disappointing because I was looking forward to working with him to solve these issues outside of the courtroom; even listening to his podcasts, I agreed with his morals and ideas. I ended the consultation early because he had already decided and didn't care about what I was looking to do. This matter MOST DEFINITELY could have been handled outside of the courts. You told me that I wouldn’t get anything more for child support even though his income went up by more than 20%. That is a percentage dictated by Illinois law. You lower arrears. But you didn’t want to hear any of that. Single mother warning- He will not fight for the rights of you or your children.

Brad takes the time to listen and completely understand your situation. He always got back with me in a timely fashion and got a great outcome to my case. He’s a really good family lawyer and fights for his clients.

Dude really gave up on me. I had to come up With solutions and what to counter with…but I’m not an attorney! I am now feeling the brunt of the mediocrity as my ex stopped paying her share and is not entitled to the tax break…mostly due to loosely worded orders…from me! Again I am not an attorney, but the one I hired shrugged it off but sure wanted my payment early every month! Do your research and pass on this one.

Mr. Tengler along with his staff have helped me more than once with my troubles. His professionalism and mannerisms are unparalleled in my opinion. I am fortunate to have had Mr. Tengler and Ryan in my corner when i needed them most.

No one gets married to get a divorce, but it happens! Getting a divorce can be an extremely overwhelming roller-coaster ride but if you have children involved it can be an emotional, financial, and mental nightmare that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. Brad Tengler (and his amazing team (Ryan)) assured me that the storm would pass, a resolution would be reached, and life would resume to a new normal (and it did). Overall, if you need an attorney that will fight and represent you in court to ease and win the battle in your horrendous storm of a divorce and/or child custody, I highly recommend Brad Tengler!!!

Brad & Ryan are a awesome team ! My divorce was a lil complex at first but Brad assured me along the way he was supportive ! If you want someone who cares about their client he is it…Ryan is the best as well !

Would never recommend him. Save yourself the frustration and find someone else. He failed to conduct a conflict of interest check at the beginning of my case. Turns out he had previously represented a party about 10 years ago and wasn't even aware of it until a few weeks into the case. Several times he asked me for names and contact information for people when I had given him this information on the very first day I hired him as my attorney, showing that he either didn't take notes or just didn't care to look them up in my file. He didn't return the remainder of my retainer until I asked his office for it when I learned that I was entitled to the remainder (thank God for law school). Finally, he never. responded. to my last email asking him if I could retrieve my daughter after my case was over. It's been 9 months and I still haven't heard from him. I had to rely on the information my husband received from his attorney to know that I could get my daughter back. It seemed like he relied on my husband's attorney to disseminate information to me several times throughout the case. As my attorney he should have been the one updating me.

I’m a civil litigation attorney and went to law school with Brad.
