The Law Office of Jonathan James was great to work with. They left no question that I had unanswered. From the beginning of my case to the end they were attentive and reassuring. I truly felt that they did everything they could to get me the best outcome possible. Even once we got the outcome that we wanted attorney James assured me that if I had any questions moving forward he would be there to answer them. If you need legal advice I would highly recommend giving them a call.

Jonathan James contacted me, a resident of California, regarding a "Scott's Law" citation I had received in Stephenson County, Northern Illinois, on July 3,2019, and offered to represent me in court. After checking out other law offices that could also represent me, and consulting with my daughter who is an attorney in another state, I went with Jonathan James, particularly since he agreed to represent me in court. I immediately forwarded him $500 to cover his fee, and within a week, and the payment of $300 in court costs, my citation was amended to a petty offense and the case was closed on August 9, 2019. Very effective lawyering, wouldn't you say? I am very pleased with the end result and recommend Jonathan James to anyone in need of good courtroom representation.

Jonathan James law is fantastic! He went above and beyond, handled every single phone call I made politely and always reasured me. He is a very smart, kind, compassionate attorney and person. When I contacted the law office to speak about a traffic ticket I wanted to contest, I was able to speak with a lawyer immediately about my situation. My lawyer did a wonderful job at preparing me for my trial and was easy to communicate with about it. In the end, my ticket was dismissed and I would seek out thier services again if the need arose.

I initially met with attorney Kotalik, but, attorney James showed up for both of my dates in court. He was very nice and quick to get my case dismissed. I’m very thankful for that and will be happy to retain them for my expungement. I’ll be referring this place to everyone!

So I was pulled over going way too fast in Illinois a couple months ago and was given a summons to appear. I live in New York and it would have been difficult for me to get back out there to show up for the court date. I call the Law Office of Jonathan James and they took care of everything! Whitney, who I communicated with, kept me informed the whole time. BEST part was they were able to get the offense dropped down from a moving violation to a parking violation so it did not affect my record.... all for about the same cost it would have taken me to fly out there and back if I was to try and handle it myself!
