Did not fully divulge information to the court on a regular basis. Did not fully investigate the homeostasis of the children. Filed paperwork with opposing litigation's address as Maureen's client's address to try to stir up more litigation. Just seeks to get money from any parent in the case who has income and is forced to pay. One of the worst if not the worst attorney I have ever experienced. Worst enough to not even bee called an attorney and should be investigated by the Illinois State BAR.

Absolutely horrible attorney. She does not care about anything. She will treat you like easy money, She didnt even remember who filed the motion first. She is rude, and manipulative. Please save yourself the trouble, money and time because you will lose everything.

I would not recommend Maureen Lawson. She does not care about the well being of the children. She says one thing in front of you and something totally different in from of the judge. She doesn't keep her word not even to the children. I don't recommend you give any money to this attorney.

Maureen is good at working out solutions that fit the needs of the entire family.

Lawyer did not honor appointments. Does not cancel or give notice of any changes of the court. She does not care of welfare of children as she makes appointments for the kids and does not speak with them to ensure thier safety. Anyone who makes appointments and can't respect people's time or children's time doesn't deserve time in court or time with families. She is unfit and is not qualified to make any decisions that will help children or families. Save your money. She won't honor your time your appointment and is negligent to children's welfare.

Very rude unprofessional shouldn’t be taking any cases at all especially for family court, she allows the children to be threatened and intimidated she does no research on any parties involved should not be working as an advocate for anyone’s children EVER!!!!!

I had a very unpleasant appointment with Attorney Lawson. She was very dismissive, and even went as far as to assume I could not afford services which I found odd since it was our first meeting. She misconstrued every word I said, she also didn’t try to understand the facts and didn’t take time to go over evidence. I was very surprised of the lack of professionalism and by her attitude, and rudeness towards me. She seemed so out of touch with the case and it seemed she could care less as long as she got paid. I wouldn’t recommend her to touch any part of anyone’s case. How can she base her decisions and strategies off of word of mouth?

Maureen great skilled attorney. Capable of handling a case though I did have trouble getting certain things I specifiy or wanted to cover in a patenting plan.

Maureen is an absolute godsend! She takes her job so seriously and does the absolute best for your child. When I felt like nobody else listened to my concerns, Maureen was there to provide some suggestions to try! She is the absolute best GAL I could've ever hopped to have! Thank you for everything you've done to help my family through a very rough time!

Maureen Lawson worked hard on my custody case for my eldest Daughter in which I had been struggling with for years. A past client of hers had heard my story and had given me her business card and assured me I couldn’t go wrong with Maureen. And boy was he right. She is very fair in her prices also and understands the struggles some people may face hiring a lawyer. I am forever in debt to her helping me. I couldn’t be happier and now my daughter and I don’t have anything to worry about anymore.
